I think they do it for the buzz. They also have a shockingly low number of females on the list. Jann said back in the day nobody but white males had the skill to move rock and roll forward, so what do you expect?

Linda Ronstadt wouldn't cooperate with R.S. after a shitty review and it's thought Wenner was the reason she didn't get into the "Rock and roll" Hall of fame for so long. Eventually, they couldn't deny it, probably pressured by people like Glenn Frey and Don Henley. Frey gave a great intro the night she was inducted. She didn't attend and doesn't care.
It hasn't been a rock and roll hall for decades.
