Rock wool starters

I keep getting slow stunted tiny leaf development with rock wool.. it’s like the roots arent taking hold... I’ve been soaking them in 5.5 low nutrient solution.. not watering them.. ona heat matt..no dome.. what causes this?

Did you clone into rock wool? Is this a seed we are talking about? Is it just a clonex rock block or are we talking a large piece of rock wool? More info would be helpful! I have good experience cloning with rock wool but that’s the most of my knowledge.

they needa few days to root in the medium .. try to keep the ph/ec in check by giving a nice runoff each time
