So I came home today and found my mother plant extremely wilted. Quickly checked the rockwool medium and found it to be bone dry! I quickly flushed the medium out with nutrient solution to rewet it and have since foliar sprayed a bit with just plain water.
Is there anything else I should be doing? I plan on flushing a bit more since I figure rockwool that has dried is likely to have built up some salts. I guess I'm curious as to how screwed I am.
A little background info: I am using an ebb and flow system and had my plant in a 5x5x6 inc rockwool slab. I saw roots poking out from the bottom, enough for me to believe it should be transplanted into another container. So I "double" potted my plant into a larger pot and carefully cut out the bottom of the plant container. I placed that onto some treated hydroton. I had set up my ebb and flow so the water would come just to the bottom of the rockwool which it evidently isn't so. Thanks anyone that can help!
