rockwool question

hey guys I just got a few very high quality blue city diesel seeds and Im not experienced using rockwool as I have always planted directly into soil/soilless mediums. I read some advice from Jorge on transplanting rockwool to soil and that's how I want to go about these seeds. My questions are...
1. Is it necessary to use a humidity dome for your cubes or is letting them breath and mist them work better?
2. Do I need to suspend the cubes using a tray or could i let them sit on a wet paper towel outside in the sun?

rockwool will hold water really well, try not to kill your seedling by over watering. humidity dome is not a must i believe but, its nice if you have it. i would cover the rockwool with something like expanded clay or some other medium. the light from any source will kill your roots and end your plants life. i put my rockwool in clay and drop it in a pot and on as it grows. you can do the same with soil since youre running a soil grow?

I heard that it is actually okay to let the roots get exposed to air because air pruning occurs?
