From what I've been reading he has great genetics, but his communication skills from every angle are being complained about, from lack of customer contact to very little being shared about the strains he's selling. Success like he's having creates a lot of room for disrespecting your own customers and getting away with it.
If he ever gets to a place where he wants to grow his business to the next level, he'll have to improve his communication. If he's content staying small and continues to sell out quickly, he'll have little motivation to improve. Human nature is pretty predictable. I'm not saying he's a bad person, I've started businesses before and it's a crazy amount of work -- he's simply going to prioritize based on need, and as long as demand continues to be greater than supply then he has no need to change.
