Roflicers Smoke House - 600w 4x4 tent - White Widow and Hawaii Mauii

Let me preface this by saying this is my very first grow ever. I have already made various mistakes and been playing catch up ever since. I am growing White Widow and Hawaii Mauii

Current Issue: There seems to be non-existant plant growth, height wise. They seem to be growing very slowly upwards and just turning into bushes

This is from December 17th to December 27th, I am very proud. Height seems to be an issue as they are not growing much, plants are about a month and half old.

Main tent:4X4X7 Grow Tent
600w HPS bulb
Wing hood
1875w ballast
and some shit 15 dollar box walmart fan

In the dec 17th pictures I was using a HPS but yesterday switched to a MH for some blue spectrum, the seedlings are hawaii mauii the big plants are white widow

Thoughts?

Yeah I waited awhile to start documenting, this is my first grow and at the beginning I was plagued with noob mistakes, growing under incandescents, no air flow, no exhaust, no nutes. But over the weeks ive corrected pretty much everything, the only thing left is I need to get some PH testing materials for soil, I got a wand but I have a feeling it isnt right because it says my ph is 3-4, and if that was the case pretty sure plants would be dead

Any questions ask away! All advice and suggestions is appreciated and repped!

did you supercrop em or something?

I'd suggest moving your ballast outside of your tent. This will keep your electronics away from water hazards and will keep unwanted heat out of the tent. Otherwise, looks pretty good.

And to the other guy, the ballast is in there to help with temperature its been getting very cold

Just some updates, not sure why they arent getting the height I would like, 2 month old plants I think should be alot bigger but it is what it is

Short plants isnt so bad, You dont really want them to grow tall fast, If they grow tall fast its usually because they are stretching which means they will have the same amount of leaf as your plants but the distance between the leaves will be greater. Your internodes are tight this is good, when you go into flower your internodes will get longer and the plant will be much taller.

If you were planning to do a scrog or something then you might want some stretch, you would have to give them less light and then they would stretch, but if you just doing a normal grow then keep the lights low, tight internodes will be good in the end. Stretched internodes is a number 1 cause of low yeilds.

Looking good, how tall were you going to grow them before 12/12? Looks like youve come along way from using incandecents lol

oh and wait till you see my plants after being topped the second time, its like theres nothing left! ahhhh, feels like i just started over lol

id like to switch now but one of the plants is having some sort of issue so I need to get it resolved before I throw it into flowering

Yes I did, and the issue isnt major, apparently one of them is starving it appears found out what I was doing wrong and corrected it...should be fine hopefully doesnt result in nute burn tho

Been flowing for a week now, how long till buds start developing?

But anyways update! I started one of the plants pretty young but its doing pretty good and the other 2 are frigging bushes the smaller one has never been topped, the 2 others been topped twice. Still dealing with random necrosis on one of my plants but the top started looking better old growth still kind of dying been battling that for a month. Anyways woooooo

wow looking really good, I think they were ready for the flip, nice sized pots too so you I think its gunna turn out really good

So how long was the veg from germination? Youll probably start seeing some flowering within a week, you have preflowers already though?

Yeah had preflowers, germination was 3 months but first month doesnt count because they were stunted and plagued with issues. I did flip em about a week back its all coming along nicely. My humidity tho seems to be really high which is interesting because I have the fan on 24/7. But the tent is outside so it will be pulling in humid air, Ill have to find a way to control this

YOUR DOING FINE!!! not all the leaves will be perfect =) thos plants look healthy and BUSHY!!

! in my opinion the reason the are sooo bushy is cause you have them in 5 gallon pots try 3 galon next time you can run like 9-12 under that light =)

you might wanna try some sort of a dessicant, to bring down rh% in the lung room your drawing air from, the plants will transpire ALOT more when flowering in my experience

Its under the outside part of my garage which is directly exposed to the outside so pretty much yes

3 weeks and 3 days into flowering how does it look?
