I cut another male the other day and i think i see a herme or 2. Im not entirely sure yet still. The rest are confirmed females and all in early flowering. Lots of nice white hairs. With all the culling, my pots are pretty sparse looking. On the bright side, there is less competition for light and nutes. Since the roots are completely entangled there is no way i am going to risk trying to remove the stumps from the males that were cut. Doing some calculations, i determined that the plants, raised from seed, got 4 months of veg time, a month and a half of flowering time so far, so im anticipating harvest towards the end of september possibly mid october.
Some stems have purple in them some hairs are long, some short. Most are indica dominant, but i do see a few that have strong sativa traits. Im guessing, based on the looks of the plants, that i have 4 or 5 different strains. Growing with bagseed from a couple different sources means every plant could potentially have different genetics and profiles. I could have my own mini cannabis cup. Granted they are not NAME BRAND plants, but i can still have a good time just the same.
This grow has promped me to do lots of reading and research. In the past 5 months, i have gained so much knowledge which is very rewarding unto itself. I still need a lot more experience but every week, i do gain a bit more. My indoor grow room is almost completely built and ill have it up and running by November with a proposed harvest of April. I will put together a journal for that in the indoor growing area. I will be growing more bagseed and if i get any seeds from this harvest (which i hope i dont), ill use those as well.
