So I visited my bro and his tegus...his male extreme giant black and white is already 3 1/2' at just 7 months old...these things are ridiculous! and super tame...I was pretty impressed...

thats a big ass tegu. mine is a year and 4 month and 3 1/2ft,i know that date cuz i bought him on 4/19 and the next day...well ya u know.haha. but i dont have the giant version,gots me a male b/w arg. tegu
and yea alot of tegus are real tame and calm,good thing cuz they're big and strong.

He was the most aggressive eater one day i fed him a Praying mantis..OH man was that a sight.His diet was lobster roaches butter worms meal worms and crickets all dusted and gut loaded with the best..

my dood seems to LOVE mantis's and MOTHS! he is a MOTH DESTROYER! he cannot help him self at the sight of those fluffy wings i guess. 2 got in my room right before his bed and he flipped out hunting them down! 
quite a sight to see, a slow moving herp on a hunt....it took a while.

I had him 6 years then i moved and his enclosure got F-ed up so the different setup and stuff messed him up quick and he passed...
But he was huge and a great example of a nice size male..t

damn i miss my cham, coolest reptile i ever had. prob get a male next time bc my lady got egg bound after about 4egg lays. she was a bitch n never let me handle her but such a cutie, deff copping a panther next time might even get crazy and cop a screameleon bc they are the best quality ive seen (only like 2 legit pet stores around here)
