ROLS question

Hi everyone,

Many years ago I did a lot of research on RIU about organics but I ended up going the coco route and now I'm very busy with other life projects and don't have much time for the research or my grow so I hope I'm not going to get flamed for asking this question but..

I am looking at going away from my usual coco/perlite RTW and towards ROLS beds in my 12x12 flowering room.
2- 4'x10'x12" deep beds.

My question is; if I use the 33:33:33% mix of peatmoss, perlite, compost can I just use a product such as Gaia Green Power Bloom for all my amendment needs? It's hard to get any of recommended amendments in my area as I'm quite a distance from any cities where these items are sold-but I can get the Gaia Green products.

I'm also building a worm farm and will add worm castings as about 25% of my compost.

Any recommendations?

Was also wondering if I can use this same mix but with the other Gaia green products for filling pots for veg? I'd let it cook in my 100gallon stock trough before pitting it up.

Thanks for any help and I apologize in advance for not doing as much research as I know I should be.

Maybe try out your plan in pots first. Make sure it's cool, then move on to the beds. Any issues will be easier to fix in individual pots.
I already built the beds. They are 2'x10' and lined with grain bag and filled with promix hp-compost-perlite and amended with Gaia Green Powerbloom, kelp meal that I give to the horses, and top dressed with a little chicken and goat manure and covered with barley straw.
I am brewing some ewc right now and I am going to water that in and I'm also planting worms in the dirt.
I'm going to let these beds sit for a few weeks while I get my clones ready and my hay fields cut then I'll plant.
Going to use blumats in the beds and return water from my 2.5t mini-split and dehumidifier.

Looking to go with a chiller in the future and/or LED's

One other question that's on my mind is; do I even want pots in my veg room?
I could build little beds in there and dig up my plants when it's time to transplant them from veg room to flower room.
Is a little root pruning when I did them up really any worse than being root bound?

If I keep the soil in me veg beds higher in N and my flower beds higher in P&K it might just work ok.

I'll try it. See how it goes
