Romney's Own Words Puts Final Nails In His Coffin

Good stuff. lol Fucking jackass.

Seems the majority of Americans agree with Romney, perhaps only jackasses disagree!

"Following the Democratic National Convention, President Obama gained a slight edge in polls over Mitt Romney, but a new survey shows that most Americans still think the government is meddling in too many things that should be left to individuals and businesses -- a belief that aligns more closely with Romney's campaign. According to Gallup, 54 percent of Americans say the government is doing too much, while just 39 percent say it should be doing more to solve the nation's problems. The poll was conducted Sept. 6-9, overlapping with the Democratic convention in Charlotte, N.C."

I don't get what the huge shocker is.
there isn't any, its an inappropriately titled thread really, not just because of an over emphasis but because it won't be the "final nail", he won't deny it, this is what most conservatives think and he didn't say anything controversial among conservatives at all. Goes to show a bunch of people here haven't taken the time to understand conservatism. I certainly don't agree with him at all as I am not a conservative but at least I have an open enough mind to get where they are coming from. Then again, nothing a conservative or Democrat says ever surprises me, its really simple stuff, very primitive ways of thinking.

Ironic that you'd call a different political ideology "primitive" when your "Stateless Anarchy" bullshit is the most primitive form of order possible.

Is it really necessary to embrace an ideology? Or is it that we are told to do so. Raised in it. Taught to thinhk, talk and act, decide, etc, in that way.

Is not an ideology, the same as religion?

Ideology in Government should be replaced with pragmatism. Ideology means well, pragmatism performs well. Just IMO.

non sequitur.

do you honestly believe that 47% of americans think they are victims, clayton?

the saddest thing is that many of the republicans who for one legitimate reason or another do not pay income tax don't even comprehend that they are being insulted by Romney's comments. Republicans and conservatives are so led by the nose that they have no idea what they are saying or hearing.

Romney and Beenthere actually believe that the entire 47 percent are people who need to be instructed on how to live, Romney can't "convince" them to take responsibility for their own lives.

Yeah while at the same time Ryan is distancing himself from the comments lol.

Ryan? Hell, I saw where Walker is distancing himself as well.

It is possible now that not only is Romney going to lose but he may take a number of other Republicans down with him. Between this, the legitimate rape issue and the current republican war on women, Dems could solidify the Senate and maybe even retake the house.

To be honest, no!

The only mistake Romney made was with the numbers, I do believe the number is near 1/3rd though.
Mitt Romney needs some of those people on the left that spun Obama's "you didn't build that" statement to run cover for him, gotta admit they're good at spinning facts!

The GOP seems to be in a sequence of self destruct. This bodes ill. As opposed to their retardation as I am, they make a fine counterweight to the left's inevitable rule. Those pleading for a break from the left/right dichotomy are simply begging to be marginalized. However, I still fear the independent votes will count against Obama and tilt the game toward Rmoney.

In some polls Romney is gaining on Obama. I dont see a sequence of self destruct.

The tape that was leaked was made back in May of this year. Not exactly current stuff.

Not just the tape, the shift further to the right in general is what I'm referring to.

The tape was not previously verified (some news organizations actually check sources before releasing them). However, unless Romney has changed his mind since May, the point of the video is still spot on, Romney holds nearly half of the citizens in this country with distain.

you're a gigantic fucking idiot who overuses exclamation points.

no one had to spin anything, you guys overplayed your hand with an out of context sound byte and it turns out they didn't build that.
