Romulan S1 and The Bling

Just popped some 'Romulan' S1's from Jake and 'The Bling' S1's from Humboldt seed co. Just babies now but I will be logging the grow, especially when they get under my new California Light Works solarsystem 1100. Not sure if anyone has any experience with these strains yet as they are both relatively new to market but would love to hear about them.

was just checking on these guys. read the story and though it's possible i'm not buying the explanation = same filial generation... because that don't matter if the seeds weren't original since romulan was pheno of a regular seed plant... they know how gullible folks are especially novice growers. I'll pass even though the froot... looks awesome. thx

I understand the skepticism as I have had more than enough bogus purchases through the years. Dark heart nursery carries a cut from them so I figured it was worth a shot. Cant knock it till I've tried running her through.

I see this thread died very fast... sadly. Just curious, how did this turn out for you? I have a pack of the Romulan regs and the s1's. I popped all of my s1's which are currently in veg and will be flipped to flower in about a week... then a few of them will be ran outdoors also. Can't wait!

Would love to see pics, smoke report, some kind of update.

Bling were put into flower on April 15th and are stacking nicely with a definite lime gas smell, robust and vigorous. Rom S1's just got the flip about 2 weeks ago. Surprisingly stout and has stayed shorter than the Bling, but with more prolific branching. Happy with both so far. Romulan genetics has just been added to Neptune Seed Bank in the past week as well.

Romulan?
Actually rather an old school strain.

I had a skunk x Romulan strain from some time ago. Like before this site started and for some time after that....

I was gonna grab these as they were the only straight Rom w/o being crossed that I found. I ended up getting AKBB Rom bx4 which was cheaper too. They gave some Rom bx as a freebie as well which I picked up 2 packs to search thru. I fell in love with Rom years ago and would dance the jig if I could find a pheno even close to what we had in 90's and 2000s.

Jakes Romulan is a stinker. Not a stealth grow.

Finished mid-October at 43N. Almost no botrytis.

Strong couch lock stone. Good for pain and insomnia.

Growing Ring of Fire next season.
