He died because he DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE. People who have insurance see a doctor right away. People without insurance (myself included) don't and try to treat themselves with over-the-counter remedies. He waited until he was in serious condition before he went to the hospital.

you are simply wrong.

my wife has insurance and didn't go to the hospital until the pain was unbearable. she thought she ate some bad chilli. turns out she had pancreatitis and almost died. she ended up spending a month in the hospital.

she hadn't been to the Dr in years. she hates Dr's. she would RATHER just find a home remedy. even though WE HAVE INSURANCE.

insurance is NOT a cure all.

My grandfather Actually had insurance. Really good insurance but he hated doctors. That pain in his side he let go for a year until it got unbearable. Of Course by then the cancer had spred from his liver to his Colon and it was game over.

I am sure if we check the coroner's report it will list the cause of death as Pnuemonia, or do you really think it says "lack of insurance" on the cause of death line? Care to take a wager? i assume you are dirt poor and could use the money for standing behind what you say.

Exactly how much time did Mr Snyder wait until he went to see the doctor? You must have some kind of evidence to make that statement. Lets see it.

People who have insurance see the doctor right away eh? I suppose you didn't read HereToday's post did you?

PS how is it possible for you to be alive, you just said that not having insurance is what causes death, what is your excuse?

Who is supposed to pick up the check? Who pays if the patient doesnt? The "Taxpayer"??

It is fine to want to offer the best possible healthcare to every single living individual on the planet. However, there is an ethical dilemma of robbing peter to pay paul in demanding that the "rich" fully fund socialized medicine.
you do understand that you still pick up the check now with medicaid and medicare...the real problem is the over cost of treatment and medications..and the Obama plan will not cover every single living individual on the planet..only Americans...do you hate Americans???

“@jonhuntsman we found your one Iowa voter, he’s in Linn precinct 5 you might want to call him and say thanks,” read the tweet that came from Paul’s verified Twitter account.

Ya. I don't appreciate that myself UB. Something we can agree on. :)
Anyone who is willing to do 5 minutes of research will know that comment came from his campaign not directly posted by Paul. Also Paul and Huntsman have shared this kind of banter in the past. Neither has taken any offense. It was an obvious joke because Huntsman didn't even bother to campaign hard in Iowa.

if it was a "joke" why defend it with an excuse that he didn't post it? :?

Perhaps we was offering a deeper understanding of the situation and not a defense. Perhaps he was concerned about people being offended with little info to go on.

If we are already paying for them then why is this new plan projected to cost somewhere between 1 and 3 TRILLION dollars? Oh yeah, cause we are giving free healthcare to another 30 million Americans.

Again, who is going to pick up the check for the additional 1-3 TRILLION dollars?

Are you a graduate of a new math class?

Kind of funny the Ron Paul controversies when played out become insignificant compared to the real corruption harbored by some of the other candidates. Kind of funny how the media milks anything they can get off Ron Paul but completely avoids digging up trash on the competition. Romney, Perry and Gingrich got lots more shit on their jackets than Ron Paul, especially if you follow the money.

I see you still missing the point...Its the over cost of treatment and meds that balloon the cost of health care...and the new plan will cover all Americans..not just the ones that are 65 and over or disabled...again why do you hate Americans so much ????

well that would explain his wardrobe. ;)
Yeah, he probably gets them from thrift stores.

I personally get about 95% of my clothing from thrift stores too, everything except socks( Don't wear skivvies). Its nice finding a perfectly new shirt for $2 when it sold last year retail for $75, then there is the vintage stuff you can't find anywhere else. Got a 100% wool Navy pea coat for $10. They sell in the stores for over $500. Looks like it was never worn.

Last year I bought a whole set of sterling silver flatware for $12 at the thrift store, sold it all to my Bullion dealer for $247. You would be amazed at how many people donate away real silver silverware. Couple months ago got a sterling silver sugar spoon for FREE, the gal at the counter said i could just have it if I bought the Jeans. Paid $3 for the Jeans, sold the spoon for $17.

How does he do that?
he just returns it to the treasury. He also returns any of his unused operational budget from his office.

In 2008, his congressional office returned $58,000 to the Treasury. In 2009, his office returned $90,000. Now, according to an official press release, Dr. Ron Paul’s congressional office has just paid back $100,000.

Dr Paul IS a doctor, most get paid pretty well and he invested his money well too, he doesn't need that extra cash, he feels it is unnecessary to take more than your expenses when a public SERVANT.

I used to do that too, but then I found I could save at least 50% more than Wal Mart by going to the thrift store. I use lots and lots of grocery coupons too, saves me about 30% on my grocery bill on average. Its fun to have the money to buy what you want, but then getting it for next to nothing is even better.

"Ron Paul Has International Support"

If so it's to bad for him that his international supporters cannot vote for him because there are not enough Americans who will vote for him to be elected president.
