Since when did Ron Paul cheat on his wife? Did Paul plagiarize his doctorate thesis? Paul doesn't take his speeches about other reverend's dreams. Paul isn't on the FBI watch list. Finally Paul would be smart enough and not so lazy to change his name from Michael to Martin. So I fail to see how Paul can be compared King. Paul may be a crazy nut, but he's honest and never takes credit for others hard work.

i wasn't trying to compare the two men's morals but rather what they did for the overall Civil Rights movements. (We're in one right now)

i look at Paul's personal life as seperate from his public life as i would any other politician. i had no qualms with a stained blue dress. i DID have qualms with lying about it under oath. Should it have been brought up? Yeah, i think so. Should it have gone where it did? More fodder for the papers and distraction from the real issues at hand imo.

i WILL say, however, that i HIGHLY respect the man (Ron Paul) and his past. He is honest, consistent, and patriotic beyond reproach imo. :)

Yeah, I see Paul as fringe, kooky and unelectable. I am not a big fan of King for the reasons stated above, but think he was mostly a good man. I also see do not see Paul as a sell out or a typical politician, like I see the rest of the candidates or most of them. He has that truther thing going and I find it disturbing that he believes in that stuff.

I would vote for Paul over Obama because of the war on drugs thing, non interventionist, and some other stuff I like. He has more character and integrity than the others and does not really care what people think of him. I do not see him getting nominated though.

remind me how ron paul feels on business refusing to say serve someone of another race or do business with them because of race please. if the answer is in the video somewhere im sorry but 8 minutes is a long time when it needs to re buffer every 2 seconds because of how slow my computer is working so it would also be nice if you could kind of sum the video up for me too. I really am interested in knowing these things and am not trolling or anything.

MLK is actually one of Ron Paul's heroes. They do have a lot in common..just look at any MLK speech, I didn't get to watch the video yet because my flash is broke on the device I am using and I am to lazy to restart firefox but..Mountain Top speech and a few others are very much like some Ron Paul speeches. Aside from that they have very similiar views and they are both very close to the people.

That is complicated question with a complicated answer. They are both outsiders to the system. Very few men in history take on the state successfully. Ron Paul like MLK is a Civil Rights champion they both preach about liberty and live for it. Don't get me wrong...someone above says "another mlk"..my response to that is: Nobody...Can EVER be another MLK..but Ron Paul IS very similar in many ways.

I will post specifics if I get some time.

Totally. That video is 100% correct. Ron Paul's perceived slights from not getting adequate media coverage is just like when MLK got police dogs and fire hoses turned on him. Ron Paul's supporters are thought of as crazy and that's just like when MLK's supporters were lynched.

GTFO. Seriously, GTFO.

That's the most absurd comparison I've ever heard. No. Ron Paul is nothing like MLK. Not even in the same league.

Watch the little televised MLK speeches and compare to Ron Paul (not so much I have a dream)..I just watched the video and honestly its not very good. They really didn't show the best comparisons, I will see if I can dig something up, this video is very bad, no offense if you made it.

I voted for Ross Perot once... total waste of a vote.

Ron Paul is a wonderful idealist. But the American people enmass are not ready for the type of change he is proposing. In addition to that fact, the very people in positions of power are threatened by his declaration he is going to close entire government departments. He wants to make more changes than Barak Obama. But honestly, people are not ready for that much change.

So he is not really a valid candidate. Obama could win against him based on foreign policy alone.

If it is him or Obama I will vote for Ron Paul. But you would have to get someone like Rosie O'Donnell to run against Obama to keep my vote out of the race...

Ron Paul is going to restore rights to white people. I'm sick of darky playing it off because 200 years ago his relatives were too much like apes to be considered human beings, and for some reason I owe this modern day darky something because of it all. We want equal rights, and blacks can't own guns cause they are only 84 percent human so we can do that legally and they can't say shit!!

LOL, I don't really feel that way. Just was wondeirng what it would be like if TSH was a racist instead of a God hater. Was I over the top enough?
