The real Bush story here is this: President Vicente Fox was "elected" on a platform of homeland security. Murders along the Mexican side of the border have skyrocketed. Every kind of illegal activity has gone through the roof.

The fact is that drugs, arms, murder, prostitution, slave trafficing, and God knows what else are illegal in Mexico. But, if you pay protection, you can get away with the crime unnoticed. For enough money, Federalies will help you do the crime. Also, protection money gets you an exclusive franchise, protecting you from competitors.

This was the Fox homeland security plan. Fox and Bush have been close friends for 15 years. The Fox regime is one of the very most corrupt regimes in the world. Certainly the most currupt in the western hemisphere. More corrupt than the Columbian governement.

Finally, this shit, for lack of a better catch phrase, has been going on hot and heavy for at least six years. If you travel along the border you can read about it in English papers some. But, the crime news is all that you will read in the Spanish papers.

You may have tainted views in some areas, but in this area, you are exactly right. I believe Fox and Bush were school Buddies and this stayed in effect as long as Bush turned a blind eye to the border. His inability to pass the amnesty bill has caused a rift, not only with fox who is no longer president but also with Felipe De Jesus CALDERON Hinojosa, the current president.

I do my best to segrigate my views, tainted or otherwise, from reasonable facts in evidense. My only opinion here is that protection money comes back to Fox. And, I was aware he is not the present presidente'. But, I would speculate he is still the puppet master.

I have no inherent knowledge of this situation, but having been an observer of mexican politicos, this is highly possible.

We are rapidly running out of time. The Iowa caucus is just 44 days away. New Hampshire is in 49 days. With so much ground to make up, we can't afford to waste a single day.
As a result, we are spending faster than the rate at which we are raising money. In October alone, we raised $2.8 million, but our campaign spent over $3.1 million.
We cannot afford to wait for bursts of press activity. What we need is sustained attention in the news. What better way to do this than by continuing to raise money at a rapid pace now? We need to keep our momentum going.

The problem is, Ron Paul is off the screen. MSM which is where 90% of people get their news is boycotting him with only condescending remarks addressed towards him if any at all. They are treating him like a joke. Us few on the net that see his stature are not enough to decide at the polls, he needs more MSM exposure in a positive way. Someone needs to get ahold of that boy and explain what MSM ads will do for him. There is a large part of society that have no clue what he is all about. My wife (probably a real good example as she is pretty much not political) didn't even know who he was untill I made her watch the repuke debates.

just out of curiosity, If he gets the nod from the primary, who do you think he'd pick for a running mate?

just think of it this way no one else has any important real issuses they want to deal with and ron paul has been pretty sure on what he wants to do for many years, nothing will happen if we vote another already rich and corrupted canidate, and most likely well be part of a northamerican union, with our dollar at shit level now
