Anyone use Hammer Head PK 4/10? When is the optimal time to start using PK? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey buddy lookin wicked over here!!!..................wow that BM is a monster streched for ya ant she!!...hopefully she wont get to big for the cab, but with the toppin i think you should be sound mate.............have you raised the LSD in the cab? so she gets the same light as the BM?....just a thought bro

With the PK, i started around week 3 i think and used for like 3 weeks in total started at 2ml/4l and worked up to 4ml/4l stayed at that for most of the 3 weeks and then raised to full strength 6ml/4l for a week when i thgought the time was right i think it was week 6. the G13 was a 10week flower so the timings a little diff from strain to strain

i use it for almost 3 weeks...at 4 ml per gallon for the most part...

i start using it a few days after the flowers develop a bunch of pistols and stop when the nugs are finished linking together... by week 6 im done using it.

the plant only needs the pk for around 7-10 days, but to make sure i give it on the exact 7-10 days it is needed, i start early and end late... and canna assured me it wouldnt have any ill side effects...

i still pump it up to 6ml per gallon during the 7 days that i suspect to be the pk sweet spot.

PK tends to be best used in a 7 - 10 day window starting about the time you see first flower formation. This typically, on an 8 week flower response group, to be about 5 weeks before harvest or 2-3 weeks after flower initiation (not light change). Adding it early will not advance or benefit flower initiation, only the amount of dark the plant sees will initiation flowering.

Hey pukka. Yeah I'm using the hammerhead pk this go. I called AN and asked them about using it. They said once a week at up to 2 ml per liter. They did say to start at week 2 of flower. Told them I was on day 11 and they said that was cool. They also said to use up to 10-14 days before harvest and to check and make sure my bloombastic is compatible. I'm thinking there should be no prob with using them together when the time is right. The hammerhead is a pk booster. I don't think the bloombastic is just a pk booster. Anyone have any experience with these to products? I know the bloombastic says to use during weeks 4-6 of flower. Instructions on the hammerhead only say to use 2ml per liter. No talk of frequency. AN did mention their overdrive bloom enhancer and another product called bud igniter. Anyway I did start the hammerhead yesterday while feeding so we shall see what happens. Hey pukka. I did tell them I'm in coco. It's possible you are right about the usage. Honestly I was ripped when I was reading thru forums yesterday and came across their number and decided to call them. Lol the dude on their end sounded just as ripped. Anyway to make sure I emailed them this morning expelling my setup and asking for their advice on the hammerhead usage. Still waiting on the response. I'll call them later if no response soon. I also started a thread asking if anyone has used the hammerhead and the bloombastic. Thanks bro for looking out! I also raised that LSD up to the blue mystics level.

Hey chronicdoom, your grow is looking nice man.. i dont know if u remember me but i was checking your thread out in the begining saying im growing the same LSD strain as you and we started about the same time. but here are what my girls are looking at right now.. your LSD's are 5 days ahead of mine right now though.. and im about to start flowering them in a few days

What up Fusion? Nice looking LSD ya got there! How tall ar they? My LSD is about 17" tall and the blue mystic is at 2'. I topped both of them about a month ago. Currently on day 12 of flower. What up people. Day 12 of flower and about 30 minutes before the girls wake up. So I've been doing a little research on using hammerhead pk 4/10. I emailed AN about using it in conjunction with my other nutes. Here is their response to the email "I would suggest using hammer head from the second week of bloom, up to two
weeks before flush for the best results. Apply once a week at the full
suggested rate during this time to ensure that the plants are developing
healthy flowers."

I started using it yesterday and will continue for the next couple weeks. I'll then flush and I'm gonna switch to the bloombastic for the remainder of flower. Went to the local grow shop today to pick up more ph calibration fluid and a cool ass 360° nozzle spray bottle for foliar feeding. Talked to the dude there and he recommended not using the hammerhead and the bloombastic together. He recommended the flush before switching. Picked up a bloombastic flyer there also. Wanted to read up on usage directions and kinda got some different instructions from the brochure. Here are the directions for use from the brochure, verbatim. "directions for use Bloombastic should be used 7-10 days after you begin your flowering cycle or when flowers start to develop. Use only base-fertilizer when using bloombastic. Do not use bloombastic with other flowering supplements that are high in phosphorus (P) or potassium (K) as this will hinder your results and may cause lock out or nutrient burn.

Ok that sounds good but one sentence below that they have this in the brochure.
"Standard use. Start with 2ml per gallon of nutrient solution. In the final 4 weeks of the bloom cycle increase usage to 4ml per gallon of nutrient solution. Do a good flush before you up the dosage to 4ml per gallon.

On the bottle it says to use during the final 4-6 weeks of bloom and ripening stage of plant growth.

Confusing! Do I start now or wait till week 4? Hmm Don't know! I do know it's time to get ripped and go get some water from the store. Talk about a headache, we are replacing the roof on our house and the roofers have been pounding all day. Lol I got ripped and crashed watching wall street money never sleeps. Didn't care to much for the movie obviously. Lol

hey chronicdoom, no i havent topped any of my LSDs but i did supercrop them and LST them. and they turned out great. i just messuerd my plants and right now they are 34" tall. i they got pretty tall in just 42 days. but they will be flowering in 2 days and i cant wait

oh by the way chronicdoom, i suggest Bloombastic for your second week of flowering, i use that stuff every grow i do, and i sell that shit like crazy at my hydro store. i promise u that your jaw will drop to the floor when u see what that stuff will do to your buds. they will double in size and make your buds look like crystal balls

*edit* sorry man i didnt realise u were already talking about BB LOL, start using that stuff at 2 weeks, but dont start with 2ML, start with only 1 ml, then do every other watering, 2nd dose then start with 2ml.. that stuff is so strong man its easy to burn your plants.. but when used carfully that stuff is crazy man

Right on Fusion! Good looking out! I may start that bloombastic earlier than planned and shelve the hammerhead pk 4/10. I have heard a lot of good stuff about the bloombastic! If you own a hydro shop then I'm sure you have experience with the stuff. I'm excited to see what the bloombastic does. Would you recommend lowering my base nutes(canna coco a&b) some when adding the bloombastic? Thanks again fusion and plus rep for ya bro! Just got back from the store buying 8gl of RO water. HigH People! Day 12 of flower. Had the girls out a little bit ago for the daily look over. Still doing great and still getting taller. The blue mystic is now at 28" and the LSD is 18" tall. Gonna feed them tomorrow and may start in with the bloombastic. I've heard a lot of good things a out this stuff. Everything seems to be on track. Had the girls out and vacuumed out the cabinet. Been monitoring the co2 and everything is running fine with the regulator and the monitor. The greenair atmospheric controller is running the whole show in harmony. CO2 levels have been constantly in the perfect range of 1200-1500 ppm. Temps haven't been getting to high in the cabinet. The atmospheric controller is basically controlling the RH. Keeping it within the 40-60% range. Mostly around 60%. Still have about 50psi in the co2 tank. The regulator flow valve is at the lowest I can get it without it turning completely off. Kinda tricky since it is very touchy adjusting that valve for that low flow of co2. Seems to be doing fine though. I'm constantly checking it during lights on. Co2 automatically shuts off during lights out thanks to the greenair. Anyway here are a few pics from tonight. Thanks for stopping by!

So I decided to make sure my girls were in total darknesswhen thelights are out. My greenair atmospheric controller inside the cabinet has a couple different lights on it that I covered with duct tape. Those are all good when I check for total darkness. The only light there is, is a little red light inside of the digigro coco co2 monitor. It is actually inside the housing of the monitor so some of the light is shining inside the cabinet. Not glaring but visible. If ya know what I mean. I can't cover it with duct tape since that would block the little vent holes for the co2 to be monitored. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Are the girls ok with that small amount of light? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

hey chronicdoom, your plants are fine if theres a little light. you got to think man that your playing mother nature, and when plants are outside, its never pitch black, theres always some light outside
