So finally after a month of careful planning and tons of studying I am going to start a little crop in the ol closet, I will have pictures posted very quickly I am awaiting the arrival of my pretty little clones. My space is 6w 2d and about 5 tall. The shelf above will be used for a pair of cannon type fan/filter Im currently building. What would be optimum to line the walls for reflectivity>? (did i make up a word?)
I was hoping to put 7-10 plants in there in 5-10L pails. Perilite and Soil mixture. MG ok? Can I fit more?, Do less?
Should I use nutes for Veg? is it Necessary? I was thinking of Scrog but Ill wait until I figure out what im doing first. ive got clones coming in the next couple days Thanks for the help.

No, you don't necessarily need nutrients, but it is HIGHLY recommended.
Expect your growing to be a nightmare if you don't use any nutrients.

Use all of the light bulbs at once if you want to. More light never hurts.

You have a cool setup, but with CFLs, you want the lights to be a lot closer to the plants.
You should invest in an HID, and then put all of those CFLs in a separate flowering space.
If you put seedlings under that there concoction, they will most likely stretch.
If you decide to keep the CFLs like this, then please get a platform for your plants so you can adjust the distance from the lights to the plant with ease.

You can put Mylar on the walls, that's probably one of the best reflective materials for growing.

And one general rule of thumb, lower color temperatures are for flowering (2700k), higher temperatures are for vegging (6500k).

Yea, i just got some mylar, some w/b poly, and tin baking dish lids.
The chains are actually attached to hooks so i can adjust the height at my leisure.
I am going back out shortly to pix up soil, perilite and hopefully some fertilizer what am I looking for in my soil and in my fertilizer.
