Hi Everybody,
Strain: 00 Seeds Northern Lights feminized
Method: DWC (top drip fed until roots are in water), tetra 100 air pump, 2 round 4" air stones
Nutes/Supplements: Lucas formula - Maxibloom, Liquid Koolbloom, Dry Koolbloom, Silica Blast, Hydroguard
Light: 132w Mars 300 for veg, TimberGrowLights 400w Vero 29 framework
Environment: Hot (75f-88f) and Humid (50-80%) from seed to harvest. It's just the way it is.
Planted her in a rapid rooter in 6" netpot lid full of hydroton on 12/3 feeding plain tap water pHed to 6.
She got off to a pretty terrible start, my fault due to neglect. Ignored her res for a week and next thing you know the pH is off the charts at 7.7. She was tall, skinny and weak looking with deformed leaves. I did some adjustment by removing the rapid rooter (had nice roots from all directions), then i took another rapid rooter and cut it in half to make a collar for her tall skinny trunk. Then I wrapped the collar around her, dug out a bunch of pebbles, gently placed her back in there and back filled with pebbles.
Here she is 10 days from seed, post op:
4 days later, she recovering, I have her on 1/2 strength nutes.
Day 14V
Here she is today, her roots are in the water, so I removed the water pump and drip feeder. Full strength nutes tomorrow
Day 19V
I am going to mainline this plant to 8 colas, she is getting close to ready for 1st topping.
Well that's it for now, I'll update every few days to a week. Comments welcome.
