Budda growing pot
Active Member
Okay so i just transplanted my 3 girls into their own 3 gal pots. The soil they were in had vermiculite and peat moss mixed into the soil. I'm using an organic soil and i was so eager to transplant them i forgot to mix in anything to provide space. (mainly b/c i didn't have any vermiculite onhand.
One of the girls is looking a little pale. but she got burned from the lights (ironically enough this was while i was at the store getting dirt and pots.) The other two are looking quite quite runty as well. This is my first grow so i'm not really sure how i should react. I know that watering can compress soil, leaving no room for roots to expand.
My question is, how long should I wait until upending the pots and mixing the vermiculite in? (was planning on giving the seedlings a week to get settled) OR should i just leave it/ try to mix in the spacer as best i can while keeping the girls potted?
Any advice/ opinions are welcome and appreciated.View attachment 1835555
