I saw a YT video where a guy said "LED grow rooms perform better at higher temperatures than HID (in the 80s)".
Is it true?

I am sure everyone has different opinions. I am sure everyone is running different strains at different humidity levels as well as CO2/nutrient levels.I saw a YT video where a guy said "LED grow rooms perform better at higher temperatures than HID (in the 80s)".

Are your plants healthy? Growing at a good rate (if its a previous strain, did growth slow?)?Thanks fellas. Turned my fans off, will see if we notice any difference.
Very versatile.I am sure everyone has different opinions. I am sure everyone is running different strains at different humidity levels as well as CO2/nutrient levels.
That said, figure out what works in your environment. I have found in a drier climate (no humidifiers), cooler temperatures prevail by far either HPS or LED. I did not see a difference in growing between the two at different temps. All my plants preferred slightly cooler temps (no matter the strain, probably due to less humidity). All my rooms have been well ventilated and run about 76-78 in flower and 80-82 in veg. If my temps got into the 80s (and they did early on in each setup while I figured things out), the plants would stunt growth a bit while in flower. Cooled them off and they would take off.
You are dealing with a VERY versatile plant. While the plant may grow its best at a specific climate, it can grow very well still with less than optimum conditions. Not everyone has a perfect growing climate or room but many still produce great results. I am happy with my results so far given my climate. I would like to try CO2 one day, possibly raise humidity but that is almost like starting over. I have it nearly perfected for my conditions and consistent
