Room too hot.

Help.
My room is getting too hot and I know the fan is large enough. The lights are off during the day when the air temp is warmer and on at night when the air temp is between 50 and 60F. I left the door open to the room to see if it would cool it faster, but it didn't seen to make a difference. Could it be that there is too much air flow restriction and the air can't leave the room efficiently enough?

16'x16' room inside garage
Currently running 6-600watt lights
14" inline fan with Rhino carbon filter.
- Air is ducted out of garage and maybe 10-15 feet into the house attic
14" hole for intake. Air pulled in from space directly above room.

I live in a moderately cool area. The air above the room isn't hot.

Temperature keeps hovering at 80F. I'd like it below 70F.

I'm in so cal. You need 2 window AC units. My room is about the same size running 2600w. Even when it's below freezing outside my AC turns on. And I'm also in the gerage.

What's up warlock. I'm in the hd now!!! Might not remember me but I do lol u helped me a bit.
As for the thread I was running the same as you and had the same problems till I added window ac units.
Yes they create heat to so what I did was run a blower venting all the hot air out with a carbon filter attached. Hour later both my garage and grow room where at 75.

I remember. Not the details but can't forget the name. We have having some strange weather up here. Different everyday.

Sence I build a room in my 3 car gerage it was easy for me to just put the face of the AC in my room and the heat dumps in the other part. With my summer temps I knew I wouldn't beable to get under 80. So I sealed the room and added co2. If that isn't how you did your room. You could also build a 3x3 box the hight of your room. And put AC in that. You will need to find out how to drain the water from the AC so it won't drip in there. I drilled a large hole and put a 3/4 fitting. Attached to a hose that runs outside. After you got that done you can put a filter and fan in the box venting to the attic. And if you feel like it. You can make it a true hot room and dump the heat from lights in there as well.

It will get back on track after they read it and give more info. I'll take a look. Be advised when winter comes so do the power outages. And that's not good for aero.

True on that one. Where keeping it alive.
I have timers operated by battery if that problem would come about. I did get warned about the weather so I came up with 3 nice size quite generators. How bad does it get? I'm 3 exits up coming up the hill. I get mixed answer about the weather. All I wana know is if it snows.

Yes it snows. Not to bad a few days you will have a few inches. Think we are on the same offramp. I'm just the other way and we get 6 inches weeks at a time.
