Root bound or underwatering?

under watering? Just flipped to flowering 3 days ago. Sex signs have already showed.
But anyways, a couple days ago I noticed roots growing out the bottom of my pots into the water trays, and continuously was told to not to worry about it so I've tried not to.
But now today the plants have all of a sudden started drooping quite bad.
I also haven't really adjusted my watering schedule lately and they were pretty dry today when I watered.
Can anyone tell me if they are looking root bound or closer to under watering symptoms?
I normally water every 3 days. But this time I waited 4 because I've been busy.
It's been hard to get any responses on here lately so anything would be greatly appreciated.

Just let em get a little dry. Gave em a nice watering and they perked right back up.
4 days into flowering and already popping out lots of pistils

It's impossible to tell man, that bl'urple makes it hard to see, should get a cheap cfl for when u take photos

Yeah lol, they've been drinking a lot more lately.
They started drooping quickly though.
Like in the morning they were fine. 4 PM super droopy, and then I watered them, and by 7 they were back to normal.
Thanks for the responses though everyone

Ive been thinking about a drip water system, if you got the cash its not even that expensive, it'd work for you certainly,
