root bound

can sombody please tell me what signs of a root bound plant looks like

Im not 100% but i think a good sign is when your plant seems to hault in its progress, not growing very much, lift the pot and if you see roots coming out of the drainage holes its time to repot

it'll start to go limp and sag as well. If there's more root than soil at the bottom of the pot good sign its root bound.
