root damage

i just transplanted my 3 babies into a bigger pot cause they were being stunted by the bot well one popped right out so it is doing fairly well but the other 2 i had to dig out and know i hurt the roots some. so now those 2 have some leaves that are drying out and withering on me. I am pretty sure they will bounce back after this they are still vegging and under 18/6 lights. m question is should i cut away the dead growth or should i leave them alone? do you think they will bounce back? and anything else i should do to get them healthy they are over a month old now and would hate to lose all the time and money spent on them already. i have germinated 3 more seeds just in case and know what i am doing better to avoid this from happeneing again. just dont want them to be lost now lol. help me please

Assuming after vegging so long they are decent size at this point. In my experience, the plants will survive almost anything after they have a few nodes and are well rooted. Obviously you want to try and avoid this kind of stress, but if they don't survive it would be something unrelated to just transplant stress, and a few damaged roots.

In regards to trimming the dead stuff you will get mixed advice. Some people like to let dead leaves fall off on their own, I however am a trimming maniac. Once there is the start new healthy growth, I trim any leaf that looks like its dying or I just straight up don't like the look of. The dying leaves won't recover in my experience.

This is a bad practice bro, the leaves get that bad looking because they're supporting the plant while the medium is out of whack.. they also work as damage buffers in case you screw up or the issue is not completely fixed yet, so you should take care of your lower foliage and never trim fan leaves just growing shots.

I've got root rot in one of my clones too.. she's recovering slowly in a diluted h2o2 solution.. no nutes. I change it every 2 days.

I just had to reluctantly remove 4 fan leaves from a plant b/c the genetics have it growing perfectly symmetrical... lower leaves were dead on top of developing flowers.

Also, some strains get those suckers towards the base of the stem. They never amount to anything and sap energy etc...those I toss as well.

Other than that, fan leaves etc are our solar panels.

Give it time it will heal

i only remove dead fan leaves if they can be easily pulled off with 2fingers.

give them plenty of water. you can destroy 1/2 the root ball transplanting, just means its gonna take longer to grow back. add phosphorus (lil bit of bloom nutes) to the next feeding, that will stimulate increased root growth.
