Root question

I don't have my camera right now but I have a question about roots poking through the holes in my 4 1/2" pots (3 little roots about 3/8" out) my pots have a snap on bottom between the holes in the bottom.

I's it time to transplant or is this normal?
I don't want them to become root bound of course but if I let them grow roots through the holes it will be hard to transplant won't it?

i usually give my clones a week - 10 days in the humid dome then i put them directly into the 9" pots i use. i use jiffy pots for cloning tho, easiest way, no transplanting shock at all, just plop it into your big pot and your done.

They are not clones, seed at 9 days (with slowdown I found out I was seriously under watering themfor the 1st 5 days)

As they are 9 days old should I pot them in the same soil (jiffy seed starting mix), I was going to put them in Foxfarm ocean around 3 weeks.

As soon as I see roots, they go into the soil. I root in rockwool. :mrgreen::peace:

That sux, i wasn't gonna buy the soil for a week (low budget) but is the Foxfarm ocean forest what I should buy tomorrow and repot them in (dunno the pot size) my CFL box is for 2 plants 4'x30"x19"?
