Root rot? Obstructed pump

Hello guys,
Im running an aerofarm from GH and it was going pretty good until the pump got obstructed, the plants sat at poorly oxygenated water for an unknown amount of days, this is the result:

How bad it is? Any tips on how to proceed?

run the pump, change nothing else, and hope for recovery.

I did that, they didnt seem to recover, changed solution with few nutrients and will check what happens. I dont know if that colour is due to rot or to the colour of one of the nutrients i use, what makes things worse.

Well, its the first time i deal with root rot, so yes. This nutrient colours the top of the soil and pretty much everything it touches, its also the same colour. I guess its very rotten anyways, they dont seem to recover just by leaving them there.

I've heard of aquafarm & waterfarm,what's an aerofarm?

Its the same but it has a pump that waters the roots and the roots are suspended without medium.

IMO to much damage is done there hooped i take it your pump is inside the res ??? that is whyi hate submersible pumps they gather and hold to much plant debree i like pump on outside inline with filters before and after pump this way you can catch and clean here is a pump that is just contaminated with plant matter this is a system killer
