Rootbound problem or something else? pics

First...sorry if you seen this post already in grow journals... posted in the wrong section :/ thought I was here.. lol

Well im 99% sure that im root bound....The first set of leaves are yellowing and drooping down(kinda) and the second set of leaves only has a smallll amount of yellowing on one fan leaf. This hasn't changed for days now.

Im in a 5 gallon bucket and unfortunately cant move to a bigger size bucket. Will this be a problem?

Ooooooor heres another possibility. The lower levels of leaves aren't getting enough light and are simply dying off? I put toothpicks up today, to lean the branches over a little so they are not shaded by the other fan leaves

Thank you very much! This is my first real grow (successful after seedling stage lol) and I was just worrying xD I really don't want to fail now.

I doubt it's root bound at that size. Could you maybe be feeding a bit too much? Try flushing and adjusting if you haven't already.

Early nute burn, with a little over watering to be sure, you don't need to fuck with tooth picks, the plant is a living being like a cat, dog, or fish, just avoid over feeding it, even a flush will go well if in doubt, 3 times the pot with air temperate, Ph neutral water, allow to recover in dim light 1x day or over night, no nutes until you see a positive recovery

Well ive only fed once (less than half recommended dose) and it was already like that before I fed her. Im using Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil. Ill flush as suggested. Im also using distilled water, btw.

Thanks all for the replies! I wont feed her for another week or two. Should I cut off the bottom leaves? so the plant doesn't put any extra work into them? since they're pretty much dead?

Definitely NOT rootbound. I grow in 3 gallon buckets from start to finish and they do fine. Looks like you've been over watering a bit

You are correct, vostok. Back to the books lol Thanks all for the replies. Appreciate the input! It may be overwatering too. I use a water bottle a day...the plant sucks up soooo much water. I do the finger test. I stink my whole index finger in, and its usually dry lol
