Rootbound!!!

Hi,
I have an auto that i grow in a pot outside, it was a free seed, so i planted it in an extra pot i had , 4 liters (around 1 gallon for u guys), filled to 2/3.
Actually it is the most vigorous plant i have. I did not want to transplant it as it is an automatic.
I have a hard time keeping it healthy.
I use amended dirt with dry fertilyser wich should be enough for the whole lifecycle of the plant but i need to constantly feed it .

The plant itself do not look great, leaves are a bit dropping and a bit like velvet on top.

Do you think is going to become a nightmare ?
I am honestly surprised that it grow that big ( its an auto ) especially considering the shitty weather i have here

I am surprised as the medium drain quite well, the pot is fabrics and it feel super extra light when i water it ( but i am a newbee ).
It did fall yesterday, but usually when there is high wind i move them in a quite place

It's not rootbound.
When a plant flower the roots don't develop like when it's growing, so if you flower it before any rootbound symptoms occur you should be ok.
The reason you take extra care of it is because it's rather big and so is the rootball and it needs constant watering and feeding.
Don't stress it, everything looks good, keep it a bit more wet, don't let it be too dry before your next watering.

Thx for your input.
Ill try to keep it more wet , but it dries so fast .
It is hard for me to know if it is over or under watered. My guess is that it almost cant be over watered as the pot is very small and made of fabric and i always wait the pot to be light and top soil to be dry.
