If you are in flower leave them alone. If you are in veg waiting for roots I would transplant to neoprene collars.
Still veggin but i germinated in rockwool, so what if i just put the rockwool inside the 2inch netpot, wouldnt that work? cover around with the hydroton..would be the same as it is now, but at least the roots would be touching the water already. If you are in flower leave them alone. CHeck my dwc thread, ez dwc 2" netpots, for a better idea. I use the 2" netpots from clone to harvest and use a pull to length twist tie to secure plant. Very easy to do and maintain.and if youre not using any medium, what holds the plant straight?
Will do, i will review it, thanks a lot.CHeck my dwc thread, ez dwc 2" netpots, for a better idea. I use the 2" netpots from clone to harvest and use a pull to length twist tie to secure plant. Very easy to do and maintain.
But as far as my situation right now, like i said malevolence, what do u think if i just grab my rockwool out of the 10" pot i have it in right now, and transfer to the 2" pot? At least that way the roots will be touching the water solution already, instead of waiting maybe another week for the roots to pop out from under the 10" pot. U think itd benefit me from doin that?CHeck my dwc thread, ez dwc 2" netpots, for a better idea. I use the 2" netpots from clone to harvest and use a pull to length twist tie to secure plant. Im really not using much as it is, for now, but if u never add so much nutes then how do u bump up ur ppms? For instance a full dose of the nutes im using now will only make my ppms go up to around 200. arent full mature plants when their blooming at around 1000 ppms? so i thought u just had to keep increasing ur ppms by adding nutes periodically, plz correct me if im wrong. ThanksSuperstoner is correct. Personally, I add a pinch of nutes and that is all. The reason? You dont want the plant to cannabilize itself, and with just a dab of food your plant will thrive. I use a drop of superthrive per gallon of water, and a pinch of Jack's Professional hydroponic nutes, and a tiny pinch of calcium nitrate and i see roots within the first week.. Easy street.
Well, if your ppm is only 200 then your on track. My cloner buckets run at about 300 and i do not dump the solution .. After the plants "fully root", i bump it up to 600-650 for the rest of the veg cycle or dump every 2 weeks. When i send em into flowering, i mix up a 1300 ppm batch. I usually dump the buckets after 1-2 weeks, depending on size of plants, and if the ppm's drop too low.Im really not using much as it is, for now, but if u never add so much nutes then how do u bump up ur ppms?
