Roots in fabric pots?

I've repotted from solo cup size seedling pots to 2gal fabric pots and I seem to have roots coming through the side of the fabric pots at the bottom!!!!! They have been in the pots for 11 days. Is this a regular thing??
Also something funny . I'd had them in a tropical soil mix as seedlings by mistake. I'd put some Coco and perlite in an empty tropical soil bag and mistook the real soil mix for the Coco when I first started the seeds. I'm now get pH 6.7 ish run off from repeated flushing with pH 5.5 . Would the bit of soil in the middle be causing this and will an enzyme adative stop the soil bein soil as it was??? Hope this makes sense to someone. Hopefully
I need to clarify this. The seedlings were in the tropical soil mix and got repotted into Coco with the soil mix still around the roots, unavoidable really.

Nope, they are just root pruning, as those dieback, others on the same root branch. begin to grow and fill the pot.

Yeah it’s what has always made me wonder how some people reuse fabric pots. Mine always had a hefty amount growing out the sides and if humid enough they will grow down the sides too.

Yeah I'm ready to buy those egg box looking root-pruning pots. Even though I've just come across this glorious roots event. I'm not sure I want to get into rdwc.

Once the roots reach the edges of the fabric pots they just prune back to the pot. Like branches on the plant when they die back they begin splitting inside the pot and more branching.

Yeah I have been using enzymes and you can almost see the protruding roots being dissolved.

I believe that enzymes break down dead organic matter, should not effect living roots. The roots die back when the reach the edge of the pots and are exposed to light and the elements.

Yeah you can almost see them getting sucked back into the pot to be digested.

I've just undone the stitches to get the plants out of the fabric pots with the roots intact. Going to invest in the root pruning ones that are like egg trays asap.
