Roots in my DWC Grow

I think my roots are taking to long to reach the water in my DWC set up. Is there anything I can do to speed things up? They've been growing for almost 3 weeks.

uh try putting ?rockwool? lower in the net pots if you are using rock wool too? more info /pics

I am using rockwool, with grow rocks. The roots came out from the bottom of the rock wool, but only about a quarter inch. I guess I just have to be patient
