Roots popped from top of soil, help

guys ive just planted 4 seeds last saturday, one of them has gone wrong, in 10 years ive never seen this and dont know what to do ??

the root is showing out the top of the soil, pls help.

dont worry now, ive sorted it, now sitting the right way around, lol

ive buruied the root, and the seed has cracked obviously, the seed is partly open and sitting flush with the soil now, is this correct ?

Should be fine. I've had this happen a couple of times. You just need to keep the seed shell damp to soften it, and so it won't stick to the cotyledons.
Only once have I had a seed that kept poking it's root back up above the soil. I just let it go the last time and it never turned around. Must have had a defect that reversed the hormonal signals or something.

i have a mister on hand and have already made her nice and damp, lol

ok so 3 of 4 popped now, the 4th wasnt deep enough and failed so ive popped her further into the soil and soaked, we will see....


but the one that grew upside down, is actually now the strongest looking after only 4 days, fancy that !
