Roots showing above soil??

You could also have very compacted soil. What's happening is the roots are seeking out oxygen. Too much water or too little room in the pot, or compacted soil, or combinations thereof are the reasons you're seeing what you are.

From the sounds of things, you should definitely transplant IMO. Also, lay off watering until the plant needs it. More often that not, that's the reason for this type of thing.

Lucky for you I know how much 500ml is. lol. There's no way for me to tell you from my computer what you should do. The point I'm trying to make is, you need plenty of room for the roots to grow, and good drainage. Bottom line is, (as I said before) the roots are starving for oxygen. Find a way to give it to them. Don't overwater, transplant if needed, and/or aerate the soil, or all of the above.

Its too late for transplant at this stage, the next best thing is to cut the bottom off the pot that the plant is currently in and then set that into another container that has dirt in it, could be a rubber made tub or another pot or whatever you have to work with. The idea is that the roots will have more soil to grow into, this way prevents less stress and has been used by many indoor growers when root bound occurs in later stages of growth.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I have a 12 liter bucket that i have made holes in , so if i cut the bottom out ( Some how) put some soil in the new pot and then place old one in the new one?

If u catch my drift???

How big is your current container? I also find that - along the way- my soil level drops - especially in spot where I tend to pour water. So I add soil. Always use soil from a bag that hasn't been sitting opened outside to avoid getting bugs - I store a small bag in my grow room with a coffee cup in it to top off as needed.

But I also agree with guy above...try to cut off bottom and set on top of bigger pot.
