i found this awsome spot but there are quite a few roots in the ground. are those roots going to impact my plants greatly or not?
thank you.Of course, unless you spade them out. Get a shovel and turn the earth. You might need a mattock pick, pick on one end axe like on the other. Pick the rock and axe the roots. Remove the competition, for water and nutrients.
You might want to watch this video, use his bag method, to prevent other plants from stealing your water and nutrients.

If I only can visit my site once a week then should I plant strait in the ground, or pots.One thing, I don't know about the plastic bag, where or not any drainage holes were made. I understand that its retaining water and creating a barrier for other plants. I was going to start a thread about this, get some ideas, I think small holes would prevent root rot. All other pots and bucket use them.
