Not sure what is going on here...

First grow i though i was over feeding and burnt them... Next grow considerably cut back on the nuts...

Second grow i though i was getting salt buildup from the tap water... Third grow i started using store bought RO water...

Third grow same problems... This time NO nutrients used at this point... This time only tap water was used for a few days after the sprout popped up then used strictly RO water... I just do not understand what i am doing wrong here... I mean this time it is just a little over two weeks old from sprout... WTF... =[

HELP... !!

Pics...

1st Yesterday... Notice the browning and drying of the left and right leaves below...

2nd Today... As you can see its getting worse... I flushed it last night with a leeching solution... But those two leaves from the last pic were almost completely dried up... I clipped them off so it would not waste energy on dying leaves...

3rd... Close up of the bottom leaf showing the burning spots... It likes to dry up and burn between the veins...

BTW i use Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil...

Any help would be appreciated... I am half way through my supply of seeds and i have yet to get a finished grow... =[

dude i'm new too but you brown marks are very erratic i dont think its nute unless yous soil is imbalanced on your NPK. check your bag of fert see what the numbers on the front of the bag say. but i think it bug look for a shiny silver film on the bottom of your leave get a flashlight and a micro check you soil and you whole grow space for bugs. i hope this helps

Shiny silver film... ??

All that i have noticed is that just before this burning and drying stage begins is that the leaves look kind of shiny on top... Then sometimes there is this little shiny spot that looks like something sticky dropped on it... Like a drop of soda that landed on the leaf and dried... Then that spot starts to dry and brown...

Then it goes crazy between the leaf veins... Drying up and browning between the veins... This is usually accompanied by new growth yellowing and ram horning or the new growth leaf matter between the veins bunching up and looking exaggerated... This is apparent on the pics...

Sort of hard to explain... =[

If you look on the 1st pic you can see the right leaf is very shiny... At this point the inter-vein areas are drying up...

If you look on the 2nd pic you can see the new growth has exaggerated leaf pattern or its not flat but looks like a wash board...

These are all typical symptoms...

Older growth dries and browns inter vein...

Newer growth is exaggerated in leaf pattern looking like a wash board and will also ram horn... I think the ram horn is a later stage...

I think it is mites. I hate them they like to stay on the underside of the leaf. just spray the leaf with bug spray or water. they hate water

I am pretty sure i do not have mites... What color are the bugs... ??

EDIT... JUst checked no visible vermin or any thing suspicious on underside of leafs... Its all top side...

I dont think that mites are your problem, its hard to tell however it may be overwatering. also, how large is your growing container, im half blind and the pics dont show it very well, but it may need to be transplanted.

Few questions and comments.Get at least 1/2 gallon pots to start in those drinking cups are for drinking and some have a coating with a chemical that can hurt a plant. What type of lighting are you useing for these hopefully a 4 foot 2 bulb shop light and not cfls or big hid lights yet.Your not giving this young plant any nutes yet are you as you shouldnt be?What the waters ph and what the soils ph and what the run off water ph?Temperatures? how much water once every week or so is more then enough for this small plant but in this smalll containers you maybe drowning them especilayyif no drain holes in such a tiny growing pot.You got fans blowing lightly moving the air?Have you splashed any water on the leaves with or without nutes??You keeping the plant in a warm area 75-80 degress F? Answer these as these will give some basis to try and narrow it down

Well filthy all those variables are ok except one and that one is just your opinion and would not cause my problem... =P

That is not a drinking cup... =]

Not over-watering... Symptoms do not match over-watering either... I only water when it gets dry to the touch 1-2 inched down soil...

This is a deeper problem... Tried all the basic remedies listed in gro faq and other bits of info i see here on regular... I need a plant doctor... =P

JK... Any other ideas... =]

Ok don get me wrong... Filthy makes good points here... I am in no way knocking the filthster... He is most helpfull on this site... It just happens to be that none of those points are the problem...

Ill go over them one by one now that i have time... I was in a rush this morning...

Yes that is at least a 1/2 gal pot... I think they are 3 liter pots...
I wont answer the loaded lighting question...
No nutrients as of yet...
Water is store bought RO water with about 6.5 ph out of the bottle...
I have not tested the runoff but will do so next watering...
Temps are 70-85 average...
Watering only when it is dry to the touch by sticking my finger in the siol 1-2 inches... And yes my pots have drain holes...
Do have fans for blowing but i do not always keep them on as is circulates hot air that stays at the top (near exhaust fan) and raises the temp by a few degrees...
No water splashing... I tried misting but it seemed to make the drying up of the leafs worse so only did that once and no longer do that...

Purple mentioned humidity... I did not think (has been stated on here many times) that humidity was that large of a factor... Could that really be the cause of my troubles...

Any hoo thats all...

I will update tonight after i check on the sick little one... =]

Thanks everyone for the input... =]

"shiny silver film" a few cannabis eating bugs leave a silver sh+t stain that looks kinda like dry jizz. sorry to put it like that but should be easy to identify now.

Well its not looking any better... I suppose not any worse but, meh...

I will take pictures this weekend if it is still alive by then...

As far as a doctor i was just kidding... Although i was hoping that someone might notice the symptoms and be able to peg the problem and i would be like YA THATS PROBABLY IT...

Again, MEH... =[

i dont know bro but i would probably transplant into a new pot with new soil and keep on a strict water only diet for a few days and re-assess. could be root burrowing bugs. i really would try that though and make sure of good drainage

If you were misting with the light on it could cause burn spots. Especially with the temps in the mid-high 80's, and low humidity.

Just tested the runoff of another plant that is starting to show similar symptoms but not quite as harshly...

The runoff tested at a ph of 7 to 8... ??

Is that too high... I am not sure what the runoff should be... Same as the water given... Because it is not the same it is much higher then the water given...

Water tests at 6.5... Runoff test at 7 to 8... Is that bad... ??

Could this be the cause of my troubles... ??

Filthster... ??
