Rotten Blue Berries... =[ Help... !!

I really do not want to move it until it starts to recover a little... So my ph runoff should be the same as what i want to be giving them during watering... As in i pour 6.5 ph water on them and i want to get out 6.5 ph...

Or should i expect to receive fluctuation as it passes through the soil... ??

Well it may not look so good right now but it is ALOT better then it was a few days ago... It just finally started to get its green color back...

About two days ago it was almost all completely yellow...

The leaves you see are new growth as i already cut off two nodes... The set that was drying up in the first pics and the set that had the spots...

So i am about 90% sure that this was due to the soil being at WAY to high of a ph even though i am giving it only 6.5 ph water and no nutes...

I had to flush it with REALY low ph water over and over to get the runoff to go down to 6.5 from 8...

I think it will recover...

I will update when and if things start looking better... =]

Yeah I think your on the right track.sorry for not getting back and I didnt take any offense I was just looking for simple causes.Id say keep the ph levels in check and it should straighten up. I have Nirvana blueberry and it always looks like crap. It shrivels and browns and fades but I have never been able to get it fixed so I wrote it up as bad pheno.They stretch and grow 3 leaves very ugly and impossible just about to clone. I got 6 clones to take out of 50 which is just killing me as Im a usualy 98% success cloner lol..good luck

Ya i could tell you were trying to cover the basics... And i am glad you did... I would have never though that i would have to check my runoff... What a pain in the ass that is, let me tell you i can not wait till i can afford a good wet setup...

Actually the setup i can afford to build its the TDS and PH pens that i can not afford right now... =[

Till then i hope i can make this happen... I am running out of seeds... =O

check for fast moving larvae like critters. They are called thrips. you will notice they move quickly on the bottom of the leaves. they leave a shiny film on top of the leaves and attack the veins, which is probably why they are turning brown. Spider mites will not do that. you know you have spider mites if you see a bunch of small white spots. if you turn over the leaves and you see little white eggs in the same spot...it think its their ph or something, but thats spidermite eggs, which you dont have. just some simple bug soap should take care of them, but you ahve to repeat the application daily for at least a week.

Decided since it was making its way to recovery I would repot...

Poor lil critter has almost no root mass... There were some roots on the bottom of the pot that looked dead... The remainder of the root mass, witch was just below the main stalk, fit in the palm of my hand... For a plant even this size there should have been visible white roots lining the bottom of the pot...

The soil that did not come away with the small root mass was discarded...

The discarded soil smelled like AMONIA... Wtf is with that... ??

What could have caused all of these things... ??

Besides the PH being way too high in the soil runoff... Or is that my main culprit... ??

And enough with the bugs theories... I can say with 90% confidence... THERE ARE NO BUGS ON THIS PLANT... !!

Unless there are bugs that are invisible to my eyes... =]

My guess would be poor drainage in either the soil, or the container.

Drains just fine and no other plants had these problems... They are all in these same kind of pots...

This is the first time that the soil smelled like ammonia... ??
