Round 2 Vertical: 2400 watts, Hydro AND Soil: Agent Orange, Trainwreck, Sour Diesel

its so wierd, i have 3 different strains in this system, and have built up the ppms to about 1100 and all of the agent orange love it, the sour D i have in there also is loving it, and then most of the trainwrecks look amazing, while a good amount have the slighest bit of curl from overfert, and then i have like 3 that are curled up really bad, its the strangest thing.. ill post some pics in about an hour right before lights on

I hope your getting enough airflow for all those plants, your gonna have to be exchanging your air a lot.

wild, seems like heat would be a issue..idk? ecsd is a bia to grow on my last run my ecsd went 120 days into flower with still all white pistils and no light leaks I got pissed off and cut them down because it took way to long , and afterwards I dint even like the taste, is was very earthy, and woody, but tdub is great, works best in cages or scroged since it always flops over. and finishes like around day 55 to 65 and smells like something rotting for sure a very odd plant. If you have the trainwreck, the way to tell 1st. low leaf count, 2nd has to be tied up, 3rd purple stems in veg, 4th lemon pledge taste when done and cured. even though I tdub I going to let my mom go. I have smoked to much tw and now the smell makes me sick

BC airflow is a big concern of mine, so i have a 670 cfm fan for the exhaust, i have a 470 cfm for intake and then i have 2 oscillating fans inside the room plus 2 cone fans aiming from the floor under the lights up to the ceiling, one box fan aiming inside the room, and one tower fan blowing fresh air from outside to the inside of my living room where air is exchanged.. it stays pretty breezy to say the least lol!

grodrowithme yes i built the frame myself from supplies you can get at home depot the rest is typical hydro gear such as hoses pumps buckets and a res. I do pump everything from one res which is 40 gallons, but with that many plants towards the end of flowering i find myself filling up the res every day and changing it about every three days cuz them babies drink so much! i dont mind it though because i know they are healthy and eatin!! my next setup doing this many plants will have a 115 gallon for sure.

masterofgenetics surprisingly enough heat is the last of my worries in here. since the bulbs hang and i have two fans underneath them. since hot air naturally goes up, this means that by adding the two fans it makes a convection effect drawing heat away from the bulbs and straight up to the ceiling. plus i have pretty large fans for my space so the air is constantly being exchanged. also i have heard about east coast sour d.. i am not to fond of it myself. what i have is from the chemdawg line and is max 75 days.. i have seen some siblings flower out and they get massive and all finish in that window of time. i also know i have true trainwreck because it has come from a guy who has lived in humboldt for 30 plus years and has just about everything under the sun! i was really lucky to get hooked up with him. It will be interesting though because the agent will be done in 8, the wreck will be done in 9, and the sour d will be done in 10.. so i will have to get creative with my flushing technique... will probably have to flush em for a few days at 8 weeks, chop the agent, fill with nutes, wait another week, flush again, chop the trainwreck, fill again etc..

Well guys been busy sorry i meant to update earlier but i guess now is as good of a time as any right! we are starting week four of flowering tomorrow.. time for these babies to start filling up!

i had to leave for 2 days for the holidays and came back to some nice canoeage due to a ph of 5! ahh.. anyways they had sucked down about 600ppms worth of food so they were definitely hungry! filled em back up, fed em some more, leveled out the ph and here is what we have today!

i think they have just about stopped stretching so when i change the nutes next time i am going to take out most of the nitrogen and add some more pk. as you can see they are getting some nice budage forming and omg the smell is amazing! I am CERTAIN i have the real deal trainwreck now more than ever i pinched a nug and immediately lemon pine hit me in the face.. already getting stick and lovely i am stoked! as you can see from the full system pics we have just about achieved the fabled WALL OF GREEN! looks crazy in there like a jungle let me tell ya LOL

The agent orange are getting fat as hell already and i can tell they are going to have some monster colas. they have a real skunky sweet smell to em

the D's are still stretchin out a bit but they are calming down and showing some flowers.. nothing to impressive so i will wait till the next update to snap some pics of them..

i really wish i had a better camera cuz the pics just dont do em justice! (i guess we all feel that way though lol)

as always comments and questions are encouraged! I am surprised i have not gotten more feedback and questions.. i really think that vertical growing is the way of the future. i cant wait till i can get it perfected and pull down 2 grams per watt... now that will be something

I wanted to also show you guys some pics of a new toy i bought myself for xmas. its a hand held microscope video camera thning.. 20 bux from amazon and it does 100x 200x and 400x zoom called the eyeclops. it comes with a usb flash drive so you can snap pics and upload em and a cord so u can hook it up direct to your tv.. pretty slick. anways the lcd is really high quality and you cant beat the price.. i took some pics of some red hairs on some cheese i had layin around and the first pic is 100x the 2nd is 200x and the third is 400x and the last one is just a cool pic i took with a single trichome in the middle at 100x. i tried to get a pic of it taking a pic but didnt turn out to well but the quality of the lcd is just like the pics you look at on your computer screen.. i highly reccomend it.

yeah my brother uses ebb n flow he has two 4x4 under 1200 watts and a light mover. 1 mh 1 hps both 600 watts. but he use's one table to flush and the other for the plants that are still heavy in flower. On my next run after I build my house. I plan on having a 4 table unit with 4, 4x4 ebb units and a circular light mover, but kinda worried, how to air cool something that spins in circle.. but I have some tricks up sleeve. I likehow you not using reflectors. my plan is to dig a basement underground and vacuum sealing the room and using a water cooler and air chiller something like you would see in a walk in freezer. And pumping c02 in through a reg. where Im from and the guys I hangout with Tdub is pretty common. And you are lucky to have some cuts of it. lol look at the greenhouse's video on youtube of their verison of the trainwreck..lol not even close those guys are over rated nerds.. but all do with respect for the game and all. nice setup I like it very different and very crafty and ingeniues.. mad props man.. good luck I will watch this grow until your finished

ya the whole genetics deal cracks me ups sometimes.. where i am from people would always be like oh i got that sweet tooth, i got that trainwreck, white widow.. etc.. all a bunch of random shit and i would just say yea whatever and chuckle. now that i have access to the real deal its awesome cuz you actually get to compare and contrast the intricate flavors and aromas of each plant.. its quite lovely. i want to preserve each new strain i get so i can always have a mad personal stash haha

well thats where everything gets fucked up... kinda like the bible.. too many stories and not enough truth. thats why I rely only on plant pheno types and which pheno's are the strongest! than breed it out, then you have something to work with. I didn't become interested into breeding until, I finally figured out how to control a males pollin. kinda like breeding cows.. only one, the best bull.. right cross it with your hottest milf and come up with a master piece and then, you and only you can throw your own name on it! agent is the shit so is the velvet its all from subcool's girlfriend or so that was the news last winter

ya i have never had the agent but i am liking her a lot i would like to keep her around and possibly make some good crosses down the road
