Round 3…can I make it this time?

First and second year grows were in a Melbourne apartment and both years I got close to the end but got fucked by snitches (2022) and landlord selling (2023).

This year I’m renting in regional Victoria and have a house. Still got neighbours but hay, a farmers got to farm!

I’m doing 1 GG#4 and 2 Wedding Cakes.
With plenty of space I’m also companion planting Marigolds to help to attract good insects and repel bad ones. Mint to mask the smell…and Sunflowers to bookend the row.

I did the paper towel method 10 days ago. They all germinated within 24 hours. Now I have them in small pots (hanging in pics).

The white grow bags are 12 gallons and I’ve loaded them with organic soil…which is cooling off for a month before I transplant the girls into them.

Hopefully 3 times is a charm. I really want to get to the end this year without interruptions and I want 26 ounces to last me a year…9 from each.

You got this. Good luck!
Haven't grown Gorilla #4 but did just harvest a Wedding Cake, your going to love her frosty look when she buds! Good luck on your grow!
Thank you. I’m determined to make it this time. I’m going to go to great lengths and even trolly the girls into my lockup garage each night when they’re in flower…I’m more worried about thieves this year than snitches. It’ll mean getting up each morning before first light to get them back outside. I’ll post more photos when the repotting is done…should be a couple of weeks at least.

All is going well. The 3 girls are slowly growing up and all my companion plants are looking fantastic. I’ve propped all 13 pots on bricks and things are looking good! IMG_5577.jpeg
3 girls are still in their baby pots…slightly overwatered but nothing drastic. The middle pic girl below fell off a chair while late afternoon sunbathing, she came completely out of her pot and bent her 2 first leaves, but she recovered well. Those leaves never got full colour back.

I'm from the uk and it's strange seeing you start an outdoor in October november .... good luck
Is he not from Aus?

@Sigourney_GG4 That potting media looks pretty dire. Just like bark?

any chance of getting some peat based soil mixes or go for coco. Loads of your problems are probably due to your media…

Soil is organic seedling mix…may look like bark at the top but it’s not like that throughout pots. …And I’m not halving loads of problems, in my opinion the girls are on track for size and very healthy.

Right fair enough. Just looks very coarse and the plants are struggling to get thru it (leave sets are not branching)

GL getting to harvest bud!
