Round 3…can I make it this time?

Girls are in pre flower!

This years grow is definitely my best. All are super healthy, no blemishes on leaves or discolouring. I’ve fed less and watered less than the previous grows.
A few days ago I did the main defoliation and yesterday I did a double top dressing of worm castings.

The 2 Wedding Cakes couldn’t look more different, one is large and lanky with thin leaves, the other is short, bushy and thick leaved. The GG#4 is big, bushy and fully beautiful. None of the photos do them justice.

Here’s the GG#4

Flowers (not pot) are starting to bloom. This will attract good insects. I have everything well under control with diligent hunting/spraying but could always use the help. Here’s my main enemies (slugs are dead and gone by using pellets).

Katydids.

Looks like a grasshopper but isn’t. They’re primarily leaf-eaters but don’t do much damage. They also eat insect eggs or slow-moving insects like aphids (which I don’t currently have). If they eat any leaves in my garden they’ll die from the BT…so I leave them to their own fate.

Plant Hopper’s.

Originally I thought these were moths but apparently they are Passionvine Hopper’s. I don’t have large numbers so do killing by hand…they are fast to hop away and hard to catch, but I am a hunter and few escape in the end.

The Dreaded Fucking Mealybug.

**note the white on leaves is BT.
Every year I face these fuckers. They are sapp suckers and can breed super fast. This year thankfully, I have had only males, so no nests, eggs or honeydew. They are easier to kill than
plant hoppers but still jump to safety when they see my fingers of death. Not in large numbers I kill all by hand.

The 3 girls are just loving life and stretching every day.
