lol Welcome aboard, dragon! I'm growing in Scott's Potting Soil - it isn't Fox Farms, but the best to be had around here, short of ordering soil on-line. (And wouldn't that shipping cost be lovely - 4 cubic ft. of soil please, every 6 weeks...) They are going under 800w of HPS next week, excited to see what they do. Oh and keep your ass off my trim please, got THC pills to make!

nah..... for real..... come bag them up...... and we can share the bong while we sit :)...... got a crew to do all the butchering and skinning :D ...... gotta get rid of the deer coming through every day before next year ;)

Just checkin in DoeEyed, but all these steamy posts have fogged up me specs:blsmoke: Or is that the OG Kush smoke...

Those are some real Bonnie Lassies!!!

:bigjoint:DST

Just a mini update for you guys and gals, I flushed the girls with the new purified drinking water I've been buying for them - they have really responded well! It's official - no more hard water for these beauties! You can see Layla in the back corner - she's loving it too, but you can definately tell her apart from the Trainwreck.:-P (Believe me when I say - it's much, much brighter in there than the picture appears.)lol

The heat is a little rough. If I shut the door it would quickly climb into the low 90's. But here's the thing - I live in an old house, and there are no heat vents upstairs in the bedrooms (where my veg closet is). That said, with colder temps apon us, I can control the heat for now by keeping the door open to their closet, and with one window that I open or close as needed - and it allows me to maintain a steady, 78F in there. (Not to mention, warming the whole bedroom lol) Come Spring, I'm going to be moving my flowering room into a spare bedroom, and my veg closet will go where the flower room is now - and that room's heat is controlled by intake and exhaust.

I see. When I added some cfl's to my veg room but the heat made me take them out :/ Supposedly the heat is over for this year, according to the news but we will see. I will keep checking in, chica.

Yeah it might get colder but the lights still produce heat, what happens is you have heat building up in your area (my number 1 issue).

Soultion, vent it out into the house, outside, or attic.

Im gonna vent my HPSs into the attict them my CFL veg area wont b so damn hot.

I was using over 140CFLs before I switched to HPS for flowering so I know all about heat.
