Royal Gorilla in DIY waterfarm-ish thing under 400W

One of my last grows failed, so i'm starting another two this weekend, separate journals here for each, hopefully it won't be two more fails! I have a fair few fails under my belt :/ (the other journal is here : https://www.rollitup.org/t/barneys-farm-critical-kush-organic-dry-amendments.1036453/)

This grow is an attempt to get at least 6oz from a 400w HPS/HID/Hydro setup.

Strain : Royal gorilla photoperiod from Royal Queen seeds.
Tent : 1x1x2m (3x3x6ft)
Light : 400w HPS/HID
Medium : Hydro
Method : waterfarmish
Nutes : Canna aqua
Bucket : 20L (~5 gallons)
Plant chamber : 10L

I've seen some amazing results online from waterfarms, hopefully water farms make babies arms of weed ;+}

Hydro bucket made but a little leaky so got some silicon glue on order.

Day 1 for hydro! It's a bit hot for her with the 400w light, even though the light is as high as it will go so i'll stick a 250w bulb in there instead after lights-off today.

Realised that i accidentally planted another barney's farm critical kush by accident so germing royal gorilla today!

Lesson? Don't get high so often!

The Royal Gorilla has germinated and is in the oxypot. I've got an Arduino monitoring TDS and temps (plus pH soon).
Having a look at making my own EC calibration fluid.

Had a leak last night due to me punching too big a hole in the top-feed watering ring, knew i shouldn't have left the electronics on the floor, smoked an Arduino. The white patch is where the uno was burning up.

She's 9 days old now :

Day 19 for the hydro girly, all good so far.

Day 31 for the hydro girly, no probs so far.

Day 37 for the hydro, she's grown a lot in a week so i will switch to flowering tomorrow or i'll run out of height.

Day 43, all good but she's a monster, vegged for too long.

Day 62, all good but vegged for too long, got a lot of light burn then chucked a scrog screen in there to push buds outside of light, not ideal but growing fine.
