and the 12-14 week thing will probably off a bit as well seeing how it wasnt fed for a while so it still has some catchin up to do ..... I hope youve trimmed before if so it will go easy ..... if not you'll have oz's of bud to learn on lol .... when i get the big plants ill just take a limb off and trim it i try not to cut down anymore then i feel like trimming in one sitting so i dont feel rushed

lol I hope youre right about that,Im actually shooting for 2 ozs here though still would be ok with a lil less..
yea i got to trim my other 2 grows ,1 was an outdoor og kush i threw in some cool spot near my house,got 4 ozs dry off of it,this tree was 1.8 m tall,but the high was so damn dissappointing,i moved the whole thing for change.
and the other was a critical auto with the same set up,but that got all messed up due to certain circumstancesi had to chop the plant early,very ealy,left me with 17 g dry of pre mature bud ...

and another thing,I also noticed lately about after my last res change that there are many little root hairs floating in the res bucket.....like alot of em,the root seem really healthy on the other hand and over all too.. could me lifting her up 2 times a day for ph check be the cause of this?

Loving reading this. Tempted to look into DWC in the future and there's some top notch stuff here. Sticking with my autos in coco pro (50/50 with perlite) atm. I basically did same as you and starved my plants for first 4 weeks thinking they had enough in them. Only realised later on that coco is nutrient free and they needed a calmag pick me up.
You live n learn eh!

if you drill a hole in the lid you could use a piece of tubing just stick it in the hole very carefully and stick your finger over the end of it to pull a sample out without lifting it ;) also check into peroxide it helps keep everything clean i have no idea on how much so you may want to ask in the hydro sub forum if there is one or google it

i think youll be surprised what you get from this one .... fingers crossed for you bud ..... its looking like you may get more then the 2 youre shooting for in my honest opinion ...... the plant is about half way done so you can imagine how much growing and swelling it has left

i have hard proof they work using the my dx system ........i got a 2 percent increase on the THC (running the confirming test now 45/50 days before 2nd run is in) .......those 2 should increase the resin (i also use UV and 10k light for 7 -10 days )

unfortunately, humbold isn't available here :|
I had my eyes on the bud candy for a long time now though :P
heard people say bud candy and Big bud work well togheter as well,so if one only has access to Advanced Nutes would this be a good alternative?

i have only used the big bud 1 time .....that was the original monster i made ......so i can not claim it did anything as i was using 3 different sets feeds mixing them all way off normal pattern

AN is good stuff in general u are safe with them

15 days old today,gotta say,she is going much faster the the northen light,it has been topped 1st time 5 days ago and second time yesterday,
but imma leave it to a whole other grow journal since it is the fisrt time im topping and the 1st time im gonna use SCROG

So,I think im gonna be choppin this saturday,so excited about that shit,i've never got see anything like this in person ever before,I guess i owe a chunk of it to you guys :) @justugh @tekdc911 .
got a fruity gasoline type of smell going crazy in the room,the buds are ROCK solid,alot of sugar mmmmmmm ..cant wait to puff on that sweetness :))

not yet ......u still have time to build the resins and thicken it more

see with a auto plant it tells u it is done ......it can not do any more stink/flower in the last ditch effort before it dies off complete it yellows the leaves to bring in bugs to get it to pollen the seeds form before it whole life is complete done

the lower section of leaves start to turn yellow then the middle then the top(main stalk) ....then the branches ....u want to cut some time around middle yellowing (weed looks it best about 70% of the tricromes are milky )
during the drying those last clear ones will milky up and some of the milky will go amber (u looking to get a 90% milky 10% amber) this will be the strongest active weed u can make

old grower said this to me ........when u think it is time to cut wait a week then wait one more u will be happy u did

as for the timing they AD in place u got the seeds (those numbers are for a dialed in system by the breeders) for us they are just a general time frame ......the plant will tell u when it is done

and before u cut rem the
Flush ( no food in water and a flushing solution ) 2/3 days of light .....this is a must when using chemical based feeds (if u do not do it the weed gets a chemical taste and alot of snapping and popping when u smoke it )
Dark time ( alot of the growers do 24 complete darkness before they cut it ) helps convert the last of the feeds in system to sugars ....makes resin glands swell little more and sweet taste

then u cut it and dry it
hang method takes 10 to 12 days if rh is 50%
dry rack 7 days if the rh is 50%

if u need to know how to set up a dry/cure area for your weed tag me or say something i know a method that is repeatable results every time

I hear you man,the problem with waiting longer now is that i've already got the second plant growing in my 60x60 tent as well on her 4th week now...and shes picking size pretty quick,I'm afraid that waiting more that til the end of this week might get me into an overcrowding situation :S.
And will it still work if I don't have a flush solution? or is it a must for a successful flush?

the plant will grow into to fit the space it has ...if u really need to cut order a scope and check out the tricromes u are shooting for 70% milky if u pull it out before most of them are milky they will not all go milky so the plants power is weaker

as for the flush stuff it is not needed ......it only increases the rate the plant uses it .......u might need just fresh water for 4/5 days (make sure it is filtered none of that super grow water from the tap) u want the plant to have nothing but water so it has to use what is in it to get rid of it
