Rsawr's 5 Strain Disaster

Week 2. The stretch wanes. Baby buds are here in force! Small tent gets more light per square foot, I have noticed it tends to start flowering a few days faster. Maybe next grow I'll add a second light to my 4x3 tent and see what happens.

Everyone is a bit dark green. This is my first run with maxibloom only throughout. I am sitting around 600 ppm. I might back off to 500 and see if they like that a bit more.

Little tent: lemon pineapple on the left is so far not fasciating further. Pistash on the right is happy and carefree.

Big tent: twins on the left and middle are still creeping higher, blue cindy seems pretty happy at her height. Clearly shorter than the twins.

Ignore the splint on blackberry. I didn't slam one of her mains in the cubby door last night... Still no obvious gender, but she is only at day 12 of flower I think. Definitely in the stretch phase. She gets more sts tomorrow. Cmon balls.

Big tent: Twins still creeping? Or maybe they're done now. I put cindy up on a bucket! :]

Little tent: Nothing much to report. Few lanky lemon tops got supercropped. Light on %100

Still no balls on flippy, gonna mix stronger sts. She has pistils. >;[

New tent (3x3x6) is going to replace my 4x2x5 after this run. Add some much needed headroom, and a bit more space for equipment inside. Still planning on 2 plant runs in it. The old tent can be a dedicated drying tent!

How nice will it be to have a dedicated drying room? Do you currently pause between grows to dry.
 
Alriiiight. Week 4 complete tomorrow, but I won't be home during lights on for pictures. Cruising height achieved I think. Got an unruly twins top that's just above the lights, I'll try to find a good spot to bend it down into later. Twice a day feedings, bless my back. 550ish ppm, still rocking maxibloom.

STS flippy is still throwing pistils. Mixed a stronger batch. No, YOUR glove had a hole in it, and YOU have one weird stained finger...

Keep it cloudy.

Both tents are fighting a bit of wind burn, big tent is running a few degrees hotter than it would like in the last throes of summer at 88ish but no big deal. It's not getting hotter. They'll make it.

Week 7 down.
Lil flippy is going to be plucked for pollen to be stored for next time soon.

Big tent: Oops, floppy town. They sagged towards one side. I added a fan, some yoyos, trunk ties, stakes, and a second exhaust. Should be able to hold themselves up now, but it ain't pretty.

Little tent: less stretchy stems, less flop. Okay okay, more light in my big tent next grow. I hear ya...

RIP lil flippy. I cut off all the male flowers and tossed the rest.

Next generation begins. Gonna be trying out some new lights over these. I bought a mars hydro light to check it out. And I won a viparspectra light. Fun fun!

Small tent smells like pineapples and something creamy. Big tent smells like lots of berries. I get cherry from one of the twins.

I trim alone, I'll be whining about it in WnB next weekend, worry not. ;]

Bummer, I still think there's room for a mobile service that trims for hobby growers. I'd pay a $100 for someone to trim my weed.

Tell singlemalt it smells like hawaiian pizza.

Pistash and lemon pineapple fell yesterday, the twins today.

One of the twins smells like cherries plus garlic. Rsawr is sad.
