Rubbermaid Tub Grow (Second Grow, First Posted)

My First post! My first posted Grow!

20 Gallon Rubbermaid Tub (inside painted gloss white)
4 - 24watt (100 watt equivalent each) Daylight CFL bulbs
Green Pots = Lavender Satori
Brown Pots = Sour Ape
2 CPU Fans pull in fresh air
Vegging for about a month (don't have the exact day)
Organic Soil and No Nutes.

I've read and learned alot from this website. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Looking good man.. Get one of those cheap Walmart "honeywell" air purifiers , gut out the cardboard rectangular filter and fill it with Activated carbon rocks in the pet's department.. Works well.

thanks. That was next on my list. The smell isn't really an issue yet. But once i start flowering, it will be necessary.

Very cool, I just started a tub grow just like this, I think your tub is a bit bigger (mine is the rectangular one, not sure how many gallons). what is the height of your sides? are you doing any lst or topping to keep the height down?

Thanks, dude. It's about 16in tall. I topped them as soon as the second real leaf set came in. supposed to keep it short and bushy. I did a little LST, but not much. I'll do more as they get bigger. When they get to tall, I'll just get another tub and invert it on top of this one.
My last grow, i used mylar lined Banana Boxes from the grocery store. Worked great! It was more reflective than this, but it's way eaiser to keep clean. A clean grow space = Happy Bud.

So i've been a bit Lazy.
Everything is lacking in Nutes. I fed them a small amount of All Purpose Ferts in yesterdays watering. Any ideas in what the specific deficiency(s) could be?

Brown pots are Sour Ape
Green pots are Lavendar Satori

i would start lsting now, you said you already topped them which is good.

not sure what the def is but keep feeding them, dont over feed, and they should go back to normal.

i would also prop up the pots to get them closer to the lights, how close are they now?

old cds or anything you can stack under them

you want to keep them around 4" away, closer if its not too hot.

Thanks, truedude. I've been LSTing already. And the lights are just about as close as they can get, and inch or two away. Next feeding is tomorrow morning.

Patience is Key... i just hate waiting.

Added a small CO2 yeast bottle, Started a couple new seeds (2 more Lavender Satori, and 1 Blue Grape). Yesterday was Day 1 on 12/12, switched out 2 Daylight CFLs for 2 Warmer CFLs.
Last one is for Shit's and Giggles.

Plants are recovering nicely from their lack of Nutes. All seems to be going well, so far.

The exhuast fan would be better near the top of the rubbermaid, because of the heat rising. Intake you have dead on though.

I have couple of vents in the lid. So as fresh air is pulled in, it (along with the rising heat) leave the box through the lid vents. I'm going to add another fan eventually. Just dont have budget for it now. I haven't had any problems with heat stress, just yet.

i noticed you only have 4 lights for 4 plants. are you going to be increasing that or staying with just four the whole way through? your plants look good man

I will be increasing. I have about 12 24watt CFLs (Daylight and Warm Spectrum) in waiting. I plan on putting a power strip with plug to Bulb Socket adapters, each of those with a bulb splitter... so i'll end up using maybe 10 bulbs. More like 8... my GF is a little paranoid with the amount of lights i wanna use. I keep telling her, "with CFL, More = Better!!" But ya know, what can you do.
And thanks Bucket, I appreciate it. I love being able to grow my medicine.
