Because I live in a neighborhood that, 1) Has no privacy, 2) has many, many, many people I don't trust, 3) There are 2 Police stations within walking distance, 4) dont have the space for a big ass grow and cant afford anything more than a few CFLs. The list goes on, really.
Mainly, this is a hobby for me (More of a small obsession). I'm learning how to do it as I go, and the small setup's are my speed.

yeah my setup is almost exact to your but with a few different materiels. im using cfl's as well too, and im going for a similar idea, being able to have a new harvest every month, since its just me and my brother going at this project lol, im still in the process of making my better veg box but the flower box is looking great already lol, on my veg box im just working at getting the cpu fans to be as quiet as possible. and baby steps si the way to go, this is my first time around too so im reading more and more about what im doing right and wrong each day haha, but this thread should be a huge help to me.Thanks, HB. I can't wait either. Everyday, when I get home from work, I swear they're a little bit bigger.I'm trying to put a few more lights in there, but wont be able to run to Home Depot til friday. I'm getting a Veg box ready too. The current one will be my flower box. Hopefully, I can pull off a perpetual set up. Harvest a plant every month or so, then replace with one from the veg box. Still in the works... Baby steps, right?
I also cannot wait til 6 weeks. Things will be much more appetizing, I hope.

I should have my Veg box going later today.. I just woke up though, so i still have to "wake and bake" and make breakfast. I have the day off, so It should get done.

The yellow crispy tips and edges are burns from a while back. Too close to the lights. But there are other leaf tips that are turning brown/black and curling up. Not sure what that's about, though.

These ones, the leaf tips are curling down. Not sure about these either.
I had small amounts of nutes in each watering. But about a week or 2 ago, noticed these things, and have been watering with tap/bottled water only. I'm about to find a deficiency chart to try and diagnose the problem.

I believe it's nute burn. I'm not an expert but you added ferts suddenly might have shocked the plant? Hope your ladies get over this you should have some dank bud! Nice box btw but I would add a fan on top to help draw the heat out faster

Thanks dude, that could be. But i dont think its too much, too sudden. It was such small amounts in their normal waterings... Idk, maybe.
As for the fan at the top of the box. Thanks. I think I enough air exchange though. The intake air is forced out the vents on top. It works well enough.

Look like nute burn. Try alternate feeding schedule if feeding every watering flush with water and give em couple days be all good. Even I over dose mine slightly time to time when trying new strains.

Honestly, not sure. I pulled them off of an old PC. I wired the two of them to a cell phone charger.They are next to silent, and the amount of air they move is noticeable.
I flushed them shortly after I posted that last set of pics. Skunky was right on the Nute burn, as is everyone else who says so. :/ Hopefully they will recover and no big damage will have been done.

So today, I went out and got a few Plug-to-Socket Adapters, but i'm running into a road block. When I turn the power strip upside down, (ya know, to mount on the lid of the box) and they seem to want to fall out.
Has anyone run into this problem? How was it remedied?
I would like to keep my lights from falling out and shattering all over my plants.

yep simple solution use zip ties. thats how i did it, just make sure there nice and tight
