naw autoflowers arent ditchweed, even though I suppose wild ruderalis strains are ditchweed, just like hemp ditchweed and stuff, the ruderalis strains from breeders arent ditchweed...

I said Id never grow it because I just dont get the big deal with it flowering all quick...doesnt seem like a good thing to me...basically, all autoflower strains are useless imo

it grows sideways? thats not one of its traits...you can make any plant grow sideways if you want. They autoflower, the ability to flower regardless of photoperiod.

your post seems ignorant. skunk isnt a variety or species of cannabis!...jesus christ. and ruderalis strains can have thc, it depends on whether your talking about wild ruderalis or breeder ruderalis strains.

Doesn't even aknowledge ruderalis, but mentions another subspecies.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if ruderalis did have a unique high unto itself. But noone grows pure ruderalis due to the low levels (not lack) of THC.

breeders make hybrids. ruderalis hybrids have thc content. pure ruderalis has the functional equivalent of a dandelion.
and skunkz not a species like indica, sativa, or ruderalis; its a sativa, but is distinct and renowned and is most definitely a type of cannabis.

I'm growing 2 ruderalis strains (Easy Ryder - AK47 x Lowryder #2, and White Moscow - White Russian x original Lowryder). Lowryder is the most efficient and stable Ruderalis strain out there. Check out March's High Times, there's a whole article on the Easy Ryder where a grower averaged 1.8 ounces per plant, chopping down plants 70 days from seeds. Do the math, it's a blessing to the marijuana cultivation world if you can have huge harvests 70 days from seed (though you have to do everything right since you don't have room for error). Jorge Cervantes says its the future for growing. I throw my Auto's outside for the summer so I can save room in my flower room, and have "for-sure" buds in August. You have 2 weeks to get them securely veg'd and then that's it... they flower with as much light as you can give them so put them with your vegg'ing. Here's my Easy Ryder last week... 7 weeks old from seed and hasn't had the best conditions (and it's looking great! filling out this nicely this week):

ruderalis is a type of weed. If I remember corectly it's from Russia. Yes it is a sub species of Canabis Sativa which makes this more confusing. It has been now declared as it's own species due to it's autoflowering nature. Usless in its wild state? No, it has many uses. It is like hemp, very low THC (not smokable so usless to some) but it is cannabis so you can make rope, clothing, etc from it, so it is far from useless.
As for growing it, nobody grows it unless it was crossed with somehting. It is crossed to use it's autoflowering ability. They have their place and if you just want to grow plants and not worry about light cycles this is for you. You can put another seed in your grow room every 2 - 4 weeks and keep a constant supply of plants from veg to flowering in the same grow space. As for the future of growing??? Sorry Jeorge, I'd have to disagree. Many people like to have control over their plants. this way people can use the veg cycle to grow larger or smaller plants. Not to mention moms. How do you clone and keep the genetics alive of an autoflowering plant? You have to let it go to seed, then there goes one plant. With cloning you can keep the genetics alive for years upon years with never growing another seed. Autoflowering plants like I said do have their own advantages, I'm sure for newer growers it is more user friendly, the ability to share grow space helps. As for quality of high, never tried one yet so I can't comment with an inteligent answer. I have thought about growing one for fun to see how it is and just leave it in with my moms and dads.

haha some people are morons. ruderelis comes from the afgan/sativa trait. has thc and grows like the canddle hollders the jews use during christmas. have u ever heard of the plant mother ship? it grows diagonally and stacks it self up.(cannabible 2)

can any real grower here show some one a full sized ruderelis in bloom so thier jaws will drop. ive seen 2 lbs ruderelis in my buddys old pictures looks like the candle holder as said before. hes been growing probly about 40 years now.
