Trump Lawyer Called Giuliani 'F---Ing A--Hole' in Oval Office: Book (businessinsider.com)

A top Trump campaign lawyer called Rudy Giuliani a 'f---ing a--hole' after he tried to ignore Georgia election law to recount 2020 votes, book says

  • Giuliani and Trump's deputy campaign manager clashed over challenging Georgia's results, book said.
  • Justin Clark said they had to wait for results to be certified before challenging them, it said.
  • Giuliani said he was lying, and Clark called him a "f---ing a--hole," the book continued.
Justin Clark, the deputy campaign manager for former President Donald Trump, called Rudy Giuliani a "f---ing a--hole" in the Oval Office as they clashed over plans for a 2020 election recount, a new book cited by DailyMail.com said.

Trump and Clark were in the Oval Office and on the phone with Giuliani when Giuliani said the campaign needed to challenge the results that suggested that Joe Biden was going to win Georgia, Michael Bender wrote in his book, "Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost."

The episode took place on November 13, days after the election had been called for President Joe Biden but before Georgia's results were certified.

Clark challenged Giuliani and said Georgia's results could not be contested before they were certified, and Giuliani then called him a "liar," the book said.

This turned into a shouting match, with Clark then saying, "You're a f---ing a--hole, Rudy!" the book said.

Clark stopped going to the White House after that incident, the book excerpt said, without giving more specifics.

Trump's office did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

The DailyMail.com excerpt came as Giuliani was suspended from practicing law in New York after a court found that he had made "demonstrably false and misleading statements" about the 2020 election.

Sounds fine to me. But I am not a bullshit race baiting propaganda troll, so maybe you can point to what makes you think this way that is not just some slickly edited clip of him stuttering?

Giuliani facing DOJ inquiry into Turkey lobbying: report
In 2017, Giuliani pushed Trump to drop federal charges against Reza Zarrab, an Iranian-Turkish gold trader accused of helping a state-owned Turkish bank funnel $10 billion to Iran in defiance of U.S. sanctions. He also urged Trump to extradite exiled Turkish cleric Fethullah Gülen to Turkey, a top priority of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Federal prosecutors are investigating whether Giuliani, Trump’s personal attorney and a former New York City mayor, made the requests on behalf of the Turkish government. The Justice Department could require Giuliani to register as a foreign agent and disclose his Turkish contacts, Bloomberg reported.

Giuliani, who has not reported his influence activity in public filings, has denied lobbying for foreign interests. A lawyer for Giuliani did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump ultimately did not go forward with either of Giuliani’s requests. Zarrab later pleaded guilty to evading sanctions and directly implicated Erdoğan in the scheme.

FBI agents seized Giuliani’s electronic devices in April as part of an investigation into his dealings with Ukrainian interests. Prosecutors are investigating whether Giuliani lobbied Trump on behalf of Ukrainian oligarchs without registering as a foreign agent.

Rudy would sell his own asshole for a buck, he will sell Donald's asshole, not to mention other assholes, to the feds if he can get a walk or a reduced sentence.

I respect your hopefulness (all).
But history does say that guys like Rudy (politicians/lawyers) are sly old dogs.
And you know, he has a lifetime of 'get out of jail free' cards ..he's been stashing away for a rainy day (like today).

The same as I'll be surprised anything 'really' happens to Trump. So far, every case/attempt to get him has fallen flat on its face (no matter what we are told about 'open and shut' cases before hand :)

I fear guys like Rudy have been 'too deep' in the system. And will have muck (and favours) we will never have any ideas about. And thats not including other sensitive information ..which can't be left sitting in a prison cell (if you get my drift).

Still, I guess we'll see.
At best, I think we will just be getting them placed in gilded retirement homes (that the public will be told is a prison ;)

Im ok with the gilded retirement. Hell even a ankle monitor for several years would be something.

I had to laugh about them being 'sly old dogs' though. I would point out that these idiots can't stop being caught doing illegal shit the last 4 years.

It was a lot easier to get out of trouble when everyone in power was fed from the same silver spoon.
