So I'm sitting here baked infront of the RIU forums zipping some nice dark rum and smoking some of my own sweet bubblegum. I'm not a heavy drinker, in fact I don't even like most liquor, but I like beer and dark rum
I've tried a lot of different dark rums but what I'm zipping on right now might just be the very best to my taste, yet "affordable" at 100$/liter. It beats in my opinion for example the "Bristol Classic Caroni finest Trinidad rum 1996" wich is just a lil more expensive and it's even with the 1974 in quality and taste, somewhat different taste, wich is at a whopping 500$/liter and it also beats the "Bristol Classic Versailles still 1985" wich goes for around 375$/liter.
The rum I'm drinking is "Rum Plantation 20th Anniversary Extra Old Barbados", ima try to describe it as good as I can, English is not my mother toungue and "Google translate not allways give the "right" word.
It has a big nuanced scent w clear elements of "oak barrel charatcer" (get me?) dried fruit, banana and chocolate.
It's a tasty wellbalanced rum, w again tastes of "oak barrel character", dried fruit, banana and chocolate and nuts.
What you guys n' gurls think, any more rum excentrics out there?

edit: LOL I'm so baked I forgot to add how well it goes w my sweet bubblegum wich has a mild sweet "red berries" taste and leaves a hint of earthy chocolate taste in your mouth after exhaling What you guys n' gurls think?
