Runoff

I've only used nutes twice (third time today), and curious what is going on. So I always add nutes furst, and then ph. I let it sit for a while then recheck the ph. It's usually the same around 6-6.05ph, and then I water. So far the most I've watered at this stage is half gallon per the 4 for plants, so 2 gallons all together. Ppm usually goes in around 180-182. Runoff check today on each plant showed on average around 5.0 ph, and 900ppm. 1 plant my most horrible one is showing 1200 ppm and 4.7 ph on the runoff. What the hell??? Am I not watering enough, or often enough? How could it be that high only using nute twice? How should I proceed? My grow progress is in my previous posts.

Are you just using water in between feedings?

They're locking up. When you see the ph of the runoff droping and ppms rising it indicates uptake issues and a buildup of salt in the medium. Cut the food recipe in half i would say till they are eating again.

Just ph’d water every other feeding
Okay il give that a shot. I read you wanna feed every watering that's where I screwed up. Should I take any action like flushing, or just continue as is and water with regular ph water in a few days?
Also could that be why my ph is lower coming out? It's going in a 6.05 and coming out around 5.0ph on a couple, and even 4.7 ph on 1 of them. Seems insanely low.

Just water next feeding and like farmerB said cut nutes down a little until she can breath again

I just watered about an hour ago and I used lighter nutes today. For instance idk why but today did 2ml calmag, did 1ml micro/grow but left out the 1ml bloom. Just wasn't sure if it was getting too much phosphate so I decided to leave that one out. But would it be too late for me to run some plain ro ph water through? I also have florakleen but was saving that for the end. If you guys reccomend I should wait and continue regular that's what I will do. Appreciate the input aswel.

Farmer, I've decided il just wait for the sake of not overwatering. So I will do just ph water for the next watering. Should I add more water than I usually do? Should I add a bit of this florakleen I have? I've read mixed reviews of flush agents. Lastly Should I add a tiny higher ph such as 6.3 until it is corrected? It's just confusing because of the 2-3 times I've used nutes I've never used near that amount of ppms, I don't get how 180ppms 3 watering turns into 900-1200 ppm unless I'm like not watering frequently enough.

Is kings coco mix a soil mix. Or is it a mix made for growing in coco?
Coco mix - here's the ingredients

INGREDIENTS: Coco Fiber, Aged Forest Products, Sphagnum Peat Moss, Perlite, Coco Chips, Bat Guano, Feather Meal, Kelp Meal, Fishbone Meal, Gypsum, Dolomite (PH adjuster), Basalt

Ok so soil grow. I have limited experience with soil. But from what it looks like your simply dumping too much on there. When its a water day just use water no calmag. (I rarely use calmag and if I do never more than 1 ml per litre (gh calimagic)) if you are using ro water tho you should add a little. Tap water usually has some levels of dissolved minerals so not usually require. Its good that your testing your runoff. It can show you a snapshot of inside the pot. Your soil looks like it has quite a lot of nutrition already in there so by putting more on your hindering the plant not helping it. Keep things simple. Stick with base nutes and as you learn more add in specific products that you understand the reasons for adding. Providing more nutrition is always more simple than trying to get excess out of the soil. Soil as a media is particularly prone to salt build up as it grabs and holds onto mineral ions really well. Keep that in mind when formulating your nute regime.

Very good information, although I thought this kings mix was a soiless mix? Just a bit confused sorry.
