Hello everybody! I have been struggling with health issues since last December. Covid really did a number on me and I lost a lot of lung capacity, so I've been trying to get healthy again and just haven't had the energy to do anything but basic survival skills. I'd like to get back in a routine of posting here, even if not as much as before. Sorry to have left you guys hanging! I let a lot of important stuff fall by the wayside over the past few months, but I did have some help from friends with keeping my important plants alive. I also have had a few nice plants going for the past couple of months. I'll be back soon to catch up with all my buds here. I'll just post some pics:

I grew a Mac1, Corey, Chem D cut in a 3x3 in 6" pots all the way through and seeded branches each with the same 4 males-2 Choc Thai, 1 Cherry Bomb, and 1 THH. I actually had to waste a lot of female Choc Thai/THH plants when I was really struggling, but I did separate out those males-thank goodness that males are so easy. These plants were just for fun crosses and to evaluate the males for future use. I like the Mac1 cut as a nice GSC type and it's certainly fun for pictures, but I'm more interested in my ChemD/Corey/Cherry Bomb seeds.

These pics are from a while back, few months maybe. I was going to try to post them then but just didn't have the energy and motivation back yet. I believe these first 4 pics are at 6 weeks of flower. The Chem D is a beautiful cut all around.

I was messing around with fonts and found this one which is called "little girl" LOL. Maybe it's common knowledge, but it cracked me up. I don't know how they got ahold a handwriting sample of mine and monetized it, but this is seriously my actual handwriting. I found an extremely nice Cherry Bomb and pollinated it with the same three males. This plant had pink pistils too, but it doesn't come through in my pictures. It wasn't as pink as some of them can be-Verdant Green has pics on ICMAG of Cherry Bomb with Magenta pistils. The terps are old school pine dank, it reminds me more of Northern Lights than of a Hawaiian Sativa, but it's a very nice hybrid and it should make great breeding material

Here is another CB pic, the first one was at 6 weeks, this one is at around 9 or 10. Lot of frost coverage on this plant on the leaves.

Here is the one Choc Thai female that made it, my friend picked out the healthiest looking seedling with narrow leaves. It's a gnarly looking plant, bit and leafy, but it definitely has potential. The terps are hard to describe right now, definitely "leathery." Also, I sent over the last of my pollen from these others for my friend to hit this one, so I think both the Choc Thai x Cherry Bomb and CT x THH could be interesting. I love the THH but it is a true NLD forever stretching "Sativa". I do have a few pics of the THH my friend kept alive, but no recent ones. When I was over there he had just one THH that was flowering at a faster rate and the terps on it were incredible, I want to say metallic banana, but the banana wasn't "gross banana", it was more like "fresh green banana."

More recent Corey pick, the seeds are looking mature at this point, so I'll harvest whenever the buds look ripe.
And here is my final pic for the day, this is the Mac1 "dying on the vine" (drying it in pot. it's so short and stout it never falls over unsupported while drying)

See, I just like to have a "looker" GSC around for these frosty Ice Cream Cone looking pics. I want one with more flavor though, so hopefully one of the crosses comes through. I think that the THH cross could produce some entertaining results with very interesting potential terpene combos.
I'm glad to be back! But to be honest, it kills me to sit at my desk right now so it might take some time for me to get back in the swing of things. I hope you guys are all doing well and taking care of yourselves!
