Hey everybody! My baby is on day 22 and is showing some nice pistils / preflowers.

I have her LST'd but she is still as bushy as a 70's porno flick... about 10 inches tall if she were standing straight up

My question is if i should wait a few more days to veg her before flushing and going on a Flower Nutrient feeding schedule or put her on flowering nutes now.

prolly sprayed it to help out with humidity. lookin good man i would give it two normal waterings then switch into flower nutes. what kind of lights do you have in that case?

i sprayed the leaves before taking pictures thats why its wet :-)

as far as watering i forgot to mention this is a dyi bubbleponic system (using fox farm nutes)

i am using just over 100w cfl. 26wats x 4 lights 6400k

grow room is very small only enough for a single matured lowryder. maybe a little more than a square foot of actual grow room not including light fixture. i am using a pc stealth growbox i made myself.

so how many days would you reccomend before switching nutes to Tiger Bloom and flushing my system?

this is my first grow btw super excited :-p
 
wait a 4ish days then switch res over to flower nutes. check my dwc grow. just harvested link in sig. pc case.

i just looked at your pc grow, and it seems like my plant is a fuckin monster or something.... its only been 22 days i am gonna tie that bitch down pat lst style... the side branches need it now

so i will wait a few more days and let the pistils develop more and then flush the resivoir with distilled water and let it run for a day or 2??? then add flowering nutes and switch lights?

yea man change the res out now with ph'd distilled water. wait a few days then add nutes and more water start off at half strength. which plants were you talking about being small? my lr#1 or the bagseen?

ok will do... your plants were fine mine is just so fucking bushy even with the main cola nearly 80 degrees vertical . lol

do i need to undo the LST strings when she flowers or can i keep it on all the way through?

i have pure distilled water in the res right now flushing her out. I will put her on flowering nutes tomorrow and switch the 6400k cfl's out for 2700k ones.

any thoughts or comments please share, and thanks
 
also will she be getting any bigger in height during flowering?? if so i need to make sure she doesnt get to close to the lights
 
sounds good man. and yea most plants shoot up sometimes double to triple in height. try bushmaster by advanced nutrients. stops verticle growth and helos to throw it into flower stronger and faster. leave the strings tied up. you may have to tighten them over time.

thanks... im about to put 4 cfl 2700k bulbs in and do some more lst. that bushmaster formula looks great but its pretty darn expensive... i am loving your feedback and thanks again
 
i got the smaller size bottle for 19 bucks at my local grow shop. i only use 5ml per gallon of water. so the bottle will last you a long time. plus you store it in the fridge so it doesn't go bad. it also helps to kick start the flowering phase. so its worth it in my eyes but its up to you lol. ill be here if ya need any more help man

hey guys here is a quick update with some pics.

she is really starting to flower nicely my only problem is keeping her 2 inches from lights now. i am tying her down LST as much as i can.

i noticed 3 or 4 leaves on the very bottom are turning yellow / brown and dying. I assume this is normal since the canopy is taking in all the light and the bottom leaves are useless to the plant now???

Lastly, should i prune some fan leaves at the top to allow more light penetration or just let her grow as is. I did cut some of the fan leaves at the bottom that were dead off.

hey dude

alright the yellowing is her saying she needs a little bit of nutes. have you used any? what kind and what strength if you have. also generally pruning is better if you didnt but that is super thicka nd could stand to have a few taken out. but remember leaves are how she breathes so not to many. other than that she is super bushy and healthy looking. how does she smell?

i used half strength nutes (Foxfarm schedule) for the last day and a half and earlier today i added full strength nutes.

the smell is very fresh and organic, it hasnt really begun to stank like ganja yet. she started flowering technically day 21 so its been 5 days into flower.

I will prune a few fan leaves and try to keep as much of the leaf as i can as long as light gets to bud sites... right?

Temps...

as far as temp the bottom is usually 74-78 F and the top of the leaves get to around 83 F tops. When i took pictures today a few bud tops where actually touching the light so i had to LST down more.

should i spray water on the tops once a day to help keep them cool or just continue LST'ing and watching her grow.?
